Alright /adv/ I need some...advice.
So I have been having insomnia the past few days and have been unable to maintain a uniform sleep schedule since it happened. So I have a few questions:
Will pulling an all-nighter help in "resetting" my schedule?
Can I use sleep aids to help with this, like over the counter stuff?
What are some ways you deal with insomnia, if you have it? I don't get it often, but when it does happen, it sucks ass.

I've done the all nighter thing. Though sometimes I'll end up passing out at like 5pm and waking up at 1am. Then your schedule is a different kind of fucked.
I prefer using alcohol to reset my schedule. If I get good and drunk I'll pass out early and won't get a great night of sleep. So the next day I'll be tired and more inclined to sleep at a normal hour.

Yeah, I tried ASMR. Loved it, but it only seems to help about half the time. I just need to get a reboot on the schedule, since I might have a new job coming soon. Insomnia usually wouldn't bother (hence why I could sleep anyway even if I tossed and turned for about an hour), but now it seems ever since I knew that I have a schedule during the day, I can't sleep when I want to.

Yeah that's the worrying thing. I don't want to end up sleeping during the day. I will try my best. Luckily, I found some youtube channels with some interesting stuff and it seems to be a good day where I live, so I can go for long walks to keep myself busy.

A friend of mine is getting called a whore regularly in school (we're in secondary scholl-the equivalent of american high school), guys are making jokes as in, she was promoting a party and they constantly asked if she would give them a bonus bj if they bought a ticket etc, they're also writing mean comments on fb..

Convince her to tell the school authorities about this. I don't know where you are, but in most civilized countries schools are required by law (or can be sued) to protect students from bullying.
When she says "they never stop" that is precisely because nobody reports them. Experience shows that a quiet talk from the principal will scare most into stopping, and a meeting with their parents will get through to the rest.
She does NOT have to put up with this. The school WANTS to help her. All she has to do is tell them.

I was never really close with him, or even am with my older brother sadly. He's was my youngest brother. It's hard for me to not guilt myself for not even being there for him. He was so young (20) with 2 kids and a separated baby mama.
I realize that after you asking that question...having siblings is a great thing. Sure you can grow up not liking each other or if your lucky you can have a best friend that just comes with your being born. Or in my case you can not really know what's going on with their lives and be a shit sibling. With all that said, it's something that's better to have had than to never have had all.

I kinda just... dealt with it. Nothing I could do. Do I miss him? Sure, but that's about it. There's nothing I could do to bring him back. There's nothing I can do to turn back time. No matter what I do, he's gone. It's sad, but I had to realize that being stoic about it is the only thing I actually can do.
I was down after he was pronounced dead. Suffered for a month or two. Lost my job. Got left behind with my studies. Drank everyday. Chainsmoked. I had a test that was pretty much a turning point between failing and passing that year. Asked myself: What would change if I were to continue living like shit, feeling like shit, and being shit? Nothing, he'd still be gone. So I just went on with my life.
I still think about him and I miss him a lot, but it doesn't cripple me anymore.

I moved thousands of miles from home 6 years ago and I still don't have any good friends here. I've had a revolving door of minor friendships/acquaintances over the years, but they never seem to last for one reason or another.
I work from home so that doesn't help, and while I do a martial arts class a few days a week, I'm older than everyone else by a solid 10+ years.
I never had problems making friends when I was in school because I'm funny and outgoing, but how the hell do you make male friends in adult life without coming across as a faggot? I mainly want a bro to be my wingman for picking up bitches.

Rather than looking for friends, look for things to do to get you out of the house (a good idea anyway if you work at home).
Join a gym. Join a club. Do volunteer work. Take a "useless" class at a CC. Go to concerts/movies/sports events. Chat with the person next to you. You already have something in common.

For 18 months I was with a girl, she was so kind, sweet and fun loving. I've always been a secretive person, I enjoy my own company and prefer to be alone usually, but for the first time in my life I found somebody that I'd honestly rather be with, than be alone.

I just ruined the most meaningful relationship I've ever had, I'm 26 and I broke up with my first girlfriend because she turned 21 and started staying out all night drinking.
