I play cricket, game on saturdays, training wednesdays.
Im a fast bowler so I need to be fresh for saturday.
Im only just getting back into lifting, Id like to do more of my weights earlier in the week, but perhaps have sunday off to recover from saturday.

Only started lifting about 6 weeks ago. been bulking at 3k cals a day. Been noticing decent strength gains and some subtle size gains too. Today was incredibly busy at work and I only are around 1200 cals. And I'll probably on,y be able to bump that up to about 1800 with the food Iv got in the house. Probably only going to get 100 grams of protein out of my target of 180 in today.
Unfortunatly the next 3 days will be similar. My question is, would lifting be doing me any good while I'm missing my cal goals so drastically. It's only going to be for 4 or 5 days total so I know it won't effect the big picture but I have no idea weather your suppose to skip gym sessions during times like this or just life and stick to my routine regardless.

I used to think squats were overrated until I got stuck in a fuckface town and decided to become a homegym master.
Barbell squats, not even heavy squats, have made my legs so much bigger and look so much better. You really do just have to learn how to do them right and then gradually increase the weight OP. Stop being gay OP. You're so fucking gay OP. Squat already.

You can build a respectable physique without squatting and deadlifting heavy (5 or less reps) and maxing out regularly. You don't even need to squat and deadlift really.
