Anyone here ever have a hernia?
How do you tell the difference between one and just swollen lymph nodes?
how do you get one
>>40050643

>>40050643

Never spent a second on that board in my life desu boyo
>>40050678
You are posting memes from there, y'know.
It's getting annoying, fucking /r9k/ piece of shit is always unmotivating my /fit/izens.
/fit/,
I am only motivated to lift weighs when under the influence of alcohol. It doesn't have to be enough to seriously impair my motor function or otherwise increase the risk of self injury. Just the point where an energy peak comes on and the "i don't really care about things" mood sets in.
Assuming I can achieve this motivational state in approx 2 shots of Everclear (to minimize alcohol based calories) and intend to do this at least 3 days out of the week, how will this affect my gains? Any other considerations?
Thanks for any insight.
Alcohol inhibits testosterone production so you're going to become a girl.
Id personally suggest whippets and suicide instead
>>40050340
I didn't even start drinking until i was 21 and I still don't grow facial hair, so i'm probably already a girl.
But at least I can be a fit girl.
On alcohol you're basically operating under the feeling of less pain + greater sense of energy + confidence
Try some caffiene, a mega dose of omega 3 and some music to pump you up instead.
How can you tell if a guy is gay at the gym? I noticed alot of guys staring at me, and I don't think it's because of my lifts (2/3/4/5). Mostly the bearmode guys stare at me and it makes me uncomfortable. Are these dudes faggots or something?
>>40050091
you probably just look real weird. gayness is pretty rare.
>>40050091
>all lifts somehow perfectly balanced at exactly 2-3-4-5
Lol.
>>40050091
open up that butthole twink
Is it true that tons of gay sex happens in gyms? I've been in several gyms now for a few years and never seen it.
> I've been in several gyms now for a few years and never seen it.
That just means you'll never make it.
Meh... Define tons
My dad worked for Edison in West Hollywood. He said that on one block there were three mega gyms side by side with windows and you could see them pumping iron
When he climbed the pole to do his work he saw some serious shit going on in the hot tub in the back
name a better meal replacement.
>>40049996
This is real food its not a meal replacement lmao come on
Doesn't count as a meal.
>Can you describe to me how and who stole your gains?
I was scrolling down 4chan one day and this "extreme diet program" said that I will get results in 6 weeks.
>how stole your gains?
Some asshole on /fit/ apparently wanted to have a giggle by recommending me to start Starting Strength. Took away months of gains that could have been and left me with an unsightly love handle which could only be the product of drinking a gallon of milk a day.
Is my dog /fit/ enough?
Been training him for a while now.

Anyone here forget to eat constantly?
>omelette in the morning
>chicken thigh and vegetables mid-day
>lie in bed
>"Oh I only ate 500-750 calories today, oops."
I've been doing this extremely frequently, for weeks at a time. And it's not like I'm in pain or anything.
As a former skinny, I do. I can eat 1,000 calories a day and feel nothing. Usually I eat everything but 600 calories, but once I actually start to eat I feel ravenous.
>>40049699
Im on a pretty low caloric cut rn and I can't even ear my 1k cals a day.
But when eating carbs, I can easily eat 8k in sweets.
>>40049699
I do it all the time, but I cant really anymore because bulking has caused me to feel very ill the next day if I dont eat enough
What whey protein powder does most of /fit/ use? I'm always been opposed to the supplement industry because I'd rather just eat more food to get those, but I'm becoming lazy as fuck when it comes to cooking and I'd rather just throw some powder in a shake. My friend swears by "Gold Standard Whey". What do you guys think?
>>40049129
I use gold standard, I love it. 2 scoops after every workout.
I've always used Gold Standard - it tastes great, but I've gotten cheaper and it's pretty fuckin expensive. I need a cheapo protein that is still good quality - it can taste shitty, I'll just slug it down fast.

What about the soy in it? Am I gonna grow boobs?
>TFW hands always go numb and tingle in the cold

Am I dying
Is this shit bad?
Help

>implying we're all 10/10 chads
3 slices of bacon
>120 calories
>1.5g of carbs
>10.5g of fat
>7.5g of protein
5 slices of back bacon
>110 calories
>2g of carbs
>3.5g of fat
>20g (TWENTY GRAMS) of protein
Why did none of you tell me about back bacon? What else have you been keeping from me? Where the protein at?
Literally began drooling when i googled it.
>>40049012
I have that shit every morning now. It's delicious. (not to mention dat there protein).
>>40048960
In the UK this is just called bacon, I've never seen the appeal of the US streaky bacon, seems like it's just 50% fat/gristle?
If you are doing less than 6 reps and trying to build strength, something is wrong.
> Plebs think going to the gym everyday and maxing out with 1-2 reps is helping them make gains
>>40048956
It's better to do 2 reps at your maximum possible weight than 5-10 at smaller weights.
>tfw I either have to do 5 or 8 reps because I think of that stupid fuckimg /fit/ infograph that says 6-7 reps leads to no results
>>40048986
Wrong. Powerlifting requires 1-2 reps with an 80-90% effort (resistance).. strength training (or bodybuilding) requires 6-8 reps with 85% effort. This is why most powerlifters are on the heavier side.. they do not get muscle hypertrophy.
