Hey /fit/ I've been lifting for a couple months now.

Always been kind of builtfat I guess but currently 2 weeks into cutting pic related.

I keep getting these red marks on my shoulder pic related every time I hit my deltoids hard.

I have a long storied family tradition of shoulder injuries and I was wondering wtf these were and if they were alright?

Apparently no gym near me has a squat rack.
I signed up to a different one after they told me "lol we don't have any banned lifts here", but they still don't have a proper place for squatting.

They also told me I should wait an X ammount of time before even touching a barbell, so I kinda feel weird asking them for form advice.

Can I properly work out like that?

Hey there fit, I'm 27 years old, going on 28 and I feel like I'm doing nothing in my life, and I feel my body slowly decaying around me. Things ache, crack, pull, and otherwise don't perform like they used to and my weight has gone up from about 180lbs to about 210lbs (6'2'' caucasian guy. Somewhere between 20-25% aiming for 10-15%). I've been fighting myself about working out but I've made my mind up to actually do it. Not try to, but to succeed. I've read the sticky and I understand I need diet and exercise for the results I want. When it comes to exercising though, I feel I would perform better following a video routine. Does anyone have suggestions for videos based around bodyweight training? I've found this channel ZeusFitness and the workouts seem good to an untrained eye. Any advice? Thank you for helping this fat fuck

No matter where i put the bar on squats i feel like i am gonna break that area. If i put it under the neck trap hurts, if i put under my traps i am basically trying to lift the bar with my arms instead of squatting because the bar is basically floating behind my back. Where the fuck do i put it?

you have no traps (for highbar) or rear delts (for lowbar) to put the bar on, since you are a hungry skeleton of the highest order

just accept the discomfort for now, keep your back tight, and eat something once in a while so you have actual muscles in your upper back to help you out
