We get it, you're new to lifting and you're uneducated.

But losing weight, literally is LOSING ENERGY. Fat is excess energy stored as fat, you dumb shit.

Now just quit the gym and your "journey" to fitness already, i know you're all motivated and shit right now but more than likely are you going to slack and give up within a few weeks or months. So just spare yourself and stop right now.

This is a very helpful tip for when you're cutting. Use liquid vaseline instead of olive oil or corn oil, on salads, vegetables etc. Olive oil is healty, great nutrients and shit, but almost 100 calories per tbsp. So....i guess this is a good option. Been doing this for months and it works.

My fat loss (and weight loss, seemingly) has been stalled; the scale has been at the same weight for over a month. I'm intermittent fasting and eating under my TDEE. Lifting 3 times a week.

Some lifts have gone up, others have stalled. The problem is that, until recently, I always thought it was just calories in/calories out, but now I'm starting to realize that macronutrients dictate a huge part of body composition. I was getting about half of my required protein and almost everything else was carbs/fats.

Couple questions:

1. Can your weight really stall if you're under your TDEE, but just eating shitty?

2. If I get my macros in order and eat the same amount of calories, could that jump start the fat loss again?


Also, I'm not trying to do IIFYM, I'm just trying to eat healthier in general.

flex your triceps, keep your arms straight at all times

when you finish your explosion (your "jump" is over, gravity is starting to pull you back down again) you relax your triceps and get under the bar, this is very late in the movement, there is only a fraction of a second from the highest point of your explosion to the racked position with the bar on your shoulders

I've been playing basketball for almost my whole life (I'm 19 and started at 5) and I've always been pretty decent, playing at the top level for my age. Recently I've been getting a lot better and the coach of the senior program (where I've dreamed of playing since I started) want's me to come play for the 2nd team and try out for his team for next year.

Here's my problem, for the last 2 years or so I've missed more games than I've missed. I keep breaking my ankle, physio's tell me my ankles are strong and ready to go back but I keep breaking them. I'm so conflicted about wanting to stop because of my ankles, and wanting to play at this level. Have you guys been in this situation? what should I do?
