I'm one of the strongest people of my gym, and I look great with and without a shirt, but I love to do my heavy lifts in a hoodie because when you are done, you can feel how much you've worked with your soaking-wet shirt. It's an amazing feeling of achievement every single time.

Anecdotal, but I've been on IIFYM for about a year now, and have literally undone entire weeks worth of weight loss/body recomp progress by going nuts on like one day outta the week

I never ran the program but I assume it just means forearm and calf exercises.
In my opinion, /fit/ is way too autistic about routine selection. Any balanced program will give you decent results provided the athlete commits to it for long enough. Reg Park, SS and SL all build a good foundation, the small variations between them won't amount to much in the long run.
Ive dropped 25kgs, from overweight to skinnyfat. Been like this for 2 years now. I'm lazy as fuck and before doing any lifting (I used to just walk for 3 hours a day and count calories) I want to drop another 5-10kgs. The thing is I have much less time than before and walking gets me too bored, so I just want to simply go with a 500-700kcal diet for a month and a half or so. But my willpower is shit. Counting calories with myfitnesspal does help me though, but how can I not eat? How can I get it out of my mind? Sometimes I feel determined and then half an hour later I'm ordering a pizza.
