What's a good hobby for a 23 year old man to take up with the intention of meeting new people around the same age?
I have hobbies, but none that require me to interact with others (going to gigs, collecting records, playing vidya). I was thinking of learning an instrument and playing in a band or something, but I wanted to see what else a recluse like me could do.

Alright /adv/ I need an opinion.

My gf has always been a drinker, since day one that we met. Hell she was blacked out the first day we "met" but she remembered me.

Anyway long story short, been dating near 4 years now and she's still drinking. I, myself, have basically stopped (I don't find it fun anymore) while she continues. Now I'm all for going out and getting a few drinks after work with your friends or to wind down after a stressful day, but is 5/7 days of the week too much? I feel like I'm being judgmental here given that I used to drink as often with her.

She basically drinks around 5 out of 7 days of the week and when she doesn't its only because she's working until 3am when all the bars are closed, and she'll usually have a drink or two at home. If her friends and her go out they are drinking, never a doubt in my mind. Lately though she's been drinking more than what I think is acceptable for a social drink or after work wind down. She even admitted to basically driving home and not remembering it, a few days ago. She is always the driver despite me offering to pick her and her friends up and they all make more than enough to cab if they needed to.

She holds her job and does it damn well, make triple what I do and never misses a day so I can't complain there but I feel this to be unsafe behavior.

She claims that work stresses her out so much and she has so many bad days that she drinks to take the edge off. I am also making her unhappy and its leading to more booze. She wants to go on vacation (she'd pay for both of us) and I said I cant yet I'm still on probation for a new job.

I don't have a good scope of this because all my female friends aren't big drinkers or are married; or they are friends that hang out with my gf.

Anyway is this normal behavior for girls in the 19-25 range? or is she just being a spoiled twat and thinks she can do whatever she wants with no repercussions?

So my boyfriend went to some event with his parents earlier in the day. He said his parents can drop him off at my place on the way back but I would have to drive him home in the morning.

My mom isn't happy because it's snowing out and she wanted to stay inside and have the house to herself. Basically chill on the couch and watch tv. We only have two tvs in the house, one in our living room upstairs and one in our den room downstairs but my dad usually likes to watch his own movies down there.

So my mom is mad because she wants the house to herself, but what am I supposed to tell my boyfriend?
"Sorry you can't come ovwe because my mom wants the house to herself today"?

I gave him the implication that my parents don't plan on leaving the house today but he said he didn't care.

I would instead go drive to him but the weather is pretty bad in my neighborhood and I don't feel like driving to where he lives which is 30 min away over a bridge. (why him and his parents decided to drive out in this weather in the first place is another story. They must have left before the weather got bad)

What do I do?? My boyfriend usually likes to stay in and chill instead of going out too so I don't want to impose on my parents and feel they can't do anything while we're here.

I just feel like Im in between a rock and a hard place.I'm wither going to make my mom or boyfriend upset.

Are there any forms of women's birth control that don't negatively impact libido?
Are there any options for men that aren't as permanent as a vasectomy?

I really hate using condoms. They rob me of the physical sensation of sex and the emotional intimacy of cumming deep inside my girlfriend. Not to mention they necessitate a break in the sexual momentum leading up to intercourse that sometimes results in a lost erection if there are difficulties putting it on.

My girlfriend got the pill shortly after we started dating. Our sex went from good to great, except now and then she started rejecting my advances and eventually I realized it had been two weeks since we last had sex. I don't know if her libido falling off a cliff was due to the birth control, high stress from her job or just a natural taper from the initial rush of a new relationship, but I was pretty miserable. Eventually things started getting better and we were having sex at least once every other day, which wasn't ideal, but it was livable. I had to go on an extended business trip however (several months), and once I left she got off the pill because she said it was making her ill. I don't know if the pill had a lasting negative impact on her sex drive or it was mostly work stress affecting her but when I returned I was back to using condoms again and our sex was still disappointingly infrequent.

She's since become unemployed and I'm hoping this means she'll be DTF but there's still the issue of condoms that I'm really not looking forward to. I understand the pill causing problems but surely there are better alternatives? She mentioned being on birth control for several years when she was younger; I didn't say anything but honestly it makes me mad inside that for as serious as our relationship is I still have to wear condoms like I'm just a drunken hookup from a bar.

i used to work at kroger when i was 16-17, and whenever someone stole liquor our loss preventions guy tackled them. There's also heavy security at the local walmart because they have problems with theft. I was planning on stealing from a cvs by walking in, walking around only a couple aisles before making my way to the liquor section, putting it in my coat sleeve, and quickly walking out to my car which wouldn't be parked in the lot. Is this feasible? would i been seen quickly and prevented from leaving by a manager until police showed up?

even though it's just one bottle of liquor, a petty theft charge can put you in jail for a decent amount of time with fines up to 1k. any suggestions on how to do this without getting caught or is it just a horrible idea in general?

also, i live in the midwest so i can't go to a publix or anything like that because we don't have it here

i need to lose some weight and want to get fit.
how do i handle this with my bf?
do i tell him? do i just do it?

i fear i will sound like your basic bitch, complaining about "oh, i'm so fat" and then when i fail to reach my goals he will be disgusted with me for my lack of selfdiscipline.

i have a history of eating disorders that he doesn't know too much about. i have been losing and gaining weight all the time and everytime i do good i'm very proud of myself, but everytime i fuck up, i just give up.
i feel like he could be a source of consistent encouragement that could help me stay or get back on track but i also fear that he woud be too nice to ask me why i'm stuffing my face again after i did so well the last month.
how would you want your gf to handle this?
i know i'm overthinking, but this is a difficult topic for me. nothing that is related to food is healthy in my life
