What's a good hobby for a 23 year old man to take up with the intention of meeting new people around the same age?
I have hobbies, but none that require me to interact with others (going to gigs, collecting records, playing vidya). I was thinking of learning an instrument and playing in a band or something, but I wanted to see what else a recluse like me could do.

These appeal to me the most, but are wouldn't they attract people who are older than me?

That feel when I write poetry and thought about perhaps joining some club devoted to that. I've shown some poems to my 2 close friends (and also some other people when I was an edgy teen), but other than that Ive been writing for myself. Getting some feedback, sharing my stuff and perhaps meeting someone like-minded would be n-nice, I guess...
I used to write prose as well (font beat me for my style; English is my second language and I read too much imageboards as opposed to worthwhile texts) and perhaps joining such a club would cause me to get back into it.

Well, unless you look for dates as well, that doesn't have to be a bad thing, necessarily.
