He went to too much of an extreme to prove his point and that opens him up to doubt. because the average male height is 5"9, if you factor in for just youth (people born say after 1990) it's around 5"9 and a half to 5"10. You probably underestimate their height at 5"8. So it only well...makes sense for the average male gym goer to be the average male height in the area.
Just saying bruh. There is probably some compensating going on but I doubt it plays a significant impact in the percentage. Also most people that look good are below 6"0 for whatever reason unless they got insane genetics. Maybe they get faster gains and it motivates them more to stay. Also if you were to go to some European gym where the average male height is like 6"1 you would see most of them above or around 6"0. Or if you were to go to a gym in say Japan most would be like 5"6-5"9. Just depends on area.
