Where does /fit/ stand on HIT method of training that these two advocated?

The basic premise is two warmup sets of moderately heavy weight and then a set of all-out heavy weight to about 10 reps, followed by some forced reps, rest-pause or negatives.
Then moving on to the next exercise.
The idea being that if you "spare your energy" for 3+ sets, you arent working the muscle with enough intensity.

Is it just another tool in the box to use when hitting a plateau?

Are there any headphones / earbuds that will actually stay in the ears of a person with fucked up ears? My ears are like asymmetrical and I guess the hole is too big in the left one or something cause every type of ear thing I try to use either won't go in right or falls out very quickly and it's extremely annoying to have just one side fall out all the time.

So I finally am motivated to workout at the gym but due to my job as a fire fighterand studying at the same time, I have problem managing my diet.
Basically during uni day and work day, i can't get proper food with me and have to resort to eating shitty food. The only thing I get to eat is macdonalds and other junk shit food. Also no fridge so I can't bring my own food. Luckily I never grow fat (in fact I'm losing weight) but I can't gain muscle. Any recommendations?

If you're losing weight then you're on a caloric deficit, regardless of what junk shit you're eating. As such what ever your macros are it's irrelevant because you can not seriously gain muscle on a deficit.

With that in mind what you need to do is
>eat more calories
>eat more protein

If you're say 180 lbs you should eat 180 grams of protein a day. Some argue more but just hitting the right number should be enough. Get some whey protein and compensate however much protein you're lacking with that.

If you're still at a small caloric deficit but hitting your protein mark regardless then you will at the very least maintain the muscle mass you have. Maybe even gain some muscle. You'll basically be cutting with minimum muscle loss.

I guess I've been pushing it....ill work out daily, different body parts, followed by an hour and 20 of cardio.

Last night I couldnt sleep, I slept 4 hours, been feeling jittery, anxious in a way. I understand rest, but anything else to calm the nervous system down?

Train in the morning. I never go running at night because I always can't sleep for hours and when I finally do I sleep light and wake up several times too.
Also I have 1 night per week where I take around 1g of phenibut which is totally comfy and gives me a guaranteed good rest.

Rest more. Take a few days/a week off of training and relax.

Deal with any stresses in your life if you're not sleeping/feeling jittery. Cut the caffeine and lower your alcohol intake. Make sure you didn't eat anything that was undercooked/you are allergic to.

Yeah Ima chill today on it and just have a relaxing day go eat. I had a Starbucks that day with a shot of espresso, I don't really drink coffee, just yesterday. Maybe that was it.

How do I get a thicker neck? What are SAFE neck exercises for it? And I really do mean safe, ain't nobody wanna break their neck

Well, my first day at the gym went great.
Tried OHP,Deadlift,Bench and squats. Asked a bit help from other people and they were quite helpful. Felt like shit the whole time doing exercises and wanted to throw up. Barely could lift the bar but I had to start somewhere.
On my way home had to hop off few stations earlier in subway to throw up.

All in all, 4/5 would go again on friday.

Im asking for a friend obviously.

So my friend is 15, and just worked himself down from fat to actually fit.
He goes jogging every 2 days, and at home he does core exercises, pull ups all that stuff.
Because he's just 15 he can't go to the Gym yet, and so I wanted to ask for him, if someone knows any more good exercises he maybe could do at home.

if you are serious about squats get them, even more so if you want to do oly lifts. they are worth every penny especially if you have poor ankle mobility.
