are you aware that there are bodyweight exercises that are superior to main weightlifting ones? the only two lifts that can't be replaced are squats and deadlifts. everything else is inferior.
weighted pushups are superior to bench in chest development. elevate your feet or use diamond hand position to make them even harder or combine both for ultimate chest development exercise..

weighted dips will work on your chest and your triceps better than any other exercise apart from pushups. why waste your time doing 10 different triceps exercises when you could be doing dips and target all the tricep muscles at the same time plus work on your chest?
weighted chinups are one of the best upper body exercises you can do. stop doing curls for your biceps and start doing chinups instead. even your lats get their fair share of workout from them.
handstand pushups are superior to OHP in any single way, especially if you put blocks under your hands for extra depth. the amount of upperbody muscles this exercise targets is insane.
weighted hanging leg raises are one of the best core exercises out there. weighted plank is also very good.
for overall shoulder development rings triumph every weightlifting exercise.

Has any powerlifter ever run a cycle of steroids and upped the reps a bit for a bit of variety? Sure.
Did running a cycle on the juice with the upped reps doing anything worthwhile for their numbers? No. But it changed things up a bit so they didn't get too stale mentally from the same old same old.

Depression and gallstones put me out of action for 10 goddamn months (should have been a fortnight but the NHS is the best healthcare provider in the world).
I know that feel. Prepare for DOMS, but after a week, now that you know what happens if you stop going, you'll get addicted and never willingly miss another workout.
Case in point; my gym shut a week for Christmas, and I fell completely off the wagon. I used to be a smoker, and not being able to lift felt exactly like quitting cold turkey; I lost most inhibitions, did nothing productive, sleeping pattern and diet went to shit. Depression and anxiety came back too.
First day back though, I felt like the king of the goddamn world (also I'd just started taking electrolyte supplements so that helped).
