I weight about 350lbs.
Today I walked 3 miles in about 55 min.
My goal is finish a mile faster than it took me last time.
First day was 20 min mile.
Second was 18min mile
Today was 17min mile but I decided to walk 2 more.
What are the pros and cons of this?
Will I destroy my joints at this pace?

You're going to hit your limit of what you can do in a bit.
It's inevitable for people your size and coming from a place where you were probably sedentary as fuck.

Once you start feeling pain in your joints during after or the following day you're going to have to slow down a bit and go at that pace for a good a full week or several days at least.

Yeah I know it's not glamorous or cool. But those small changes right now will pay massive dividends later.
Trust me.
This is comming from a man who all but destroyed his already fucked knees by doing constant daily pavement pounding at 340lbs every fucking day.

If you want something to do outside of speed walking then find a simple exercise plan to do as well. I suggest some basic yoga or calisthenics.

Left = 24 years old, 150 pounds.

Right = 29 years old, 180 pounds.


Why is there such a minimal difference, despite 30+ pound gain, and what appears to be slightly less bodyfat (judging off size of waist)

Maybe you should have noticed you werent doing something right when people can be fit in half that time according to there befor and after pics. You are an inspiration to us all.

In my teens I had pimples on my face all the time.

Now in my late 20s it seems like all those pimples transferred from my face to my back. Face is clear all the time now, but back seems to never not have pimples occurring.

Fucking random. Literally changed nothing about my lifestyle.

Change your pillow case often.
Moisturize.

That'll take care of like 80% of it unless you have fucked up hormones.

/fit/ brahs, what the fuck do you eat your tuna with while cutting? Every time I try and add tuna to my diet on a cut I usually go for tuna in springwater, saves me some macros for things like nuts/cheese. It dries my mouth out so much though, to the point of it being difficult to swallow. What do you guys have with it to make it more enjoyable to eat?

Can I really eat like this and lose 1lb a week?

I'm 6'4" 220lbs. Seems like its way too much.

5 years lifting here, all the gains haven't done much to increase my metabolism.

No cardio though because can't be fucked and it's not even worth the time/effort in regards to calories burned. I just do cardio randomly whenever I feel like it for health purposes, but I don't take it into account for calories burnt.

I'm looking for protein shakes and such, and I am worrying I'm not getting all the proteins, all I know is I'm getting a lot of what claims to have some sort of protien in it.

How can I find my DNA composition without risking a government or some private company spying on the process, and how can I know how much of each protein I need to get using that information?

Cows and other mammals aren't that far from us. Therefore their proteins will have a similar amino acid composition to ours. Therefore mammal-derived protein sources should provide all you need.

Plants on the other hand are far enough away from us that their proteins have different amino acid composition, meaning you won't benefit from plant-derived protein sources as much.
