Hey /fit/izens,I have come to you with a question today

I managed to stay completly sober the entire last month,and I feel very good,my lifts are finally improving,and I fixed my diet.

However,my best Friend is having his birthday party on sunday,and I want to get fucking loaded.
Which got me wondering,how much of my progress will be lost after getting drunk once a month,compared to being completly straight edge all the time?

They probably aren't great because of artificial colours and chemicals but I just had a diet monster anyway. Sugar free anything gives me the shits so there is that. I don't buy the isotonic meme though they just taste good and are less bland than water so easier to chug.

What double progression scheme do you guys typically use for deadlift? The main problem being that regular schemes like 4x6-8 or 5x5 may be too much volume for the body to reasonably handle on a deadlift.

You can handle a ton of deadlift volume provided you're willing to work up to it and not try to max out. The whole 'one set only' thing doesn't really apply outside of SS.

Male, 24, 5'9" and 190 lbs here.

When I was 17, I weighed 210 and went on a extreme diet which limited my calorie intake to 1500-1800 daily. I wouldn't eat more calories even after I went to the gym(I'd burn 1000 on an elyptical every few days). The problem is that at the end of 7 months, I weighed 140 lbs and lost a lot of muscle mass. I still had boob flab despite being UNDERWEIGHT. I would eat 1800 c

Anyways, over the past 6-7 years, I've been eating normally, gained muscle, but put on some more weight. I got careless since I got married and "comfy" eating complete junk. I would eat cake, ice cream, soda, etc.

About a week ago, I realized I was about to hit 200 lbs again so I decided to make a chance but I DO NOT want to make the same mistake by losing muscle mass again.

I've been eating less junk for about a week now. I'm eating mostly protein, only putting cream in my coffee with no sugar, but finally limiting carbohydrates for the first time.

Would it be the right thing to put my body into Ketosis by limiting my carb intake?

I work third shift in an office at a standing-desk so I'm usually walking up and down stairs doing a bunch of reports and whatnot.

What would be good for me to lose weight in a healthy way? Should I simply cut carbs and just so mild exercise? I want to join a gym soon to gain muscle but I want to lose the chub first.

Any suggestions from anyone? Should I cut back on carbs and limit it to under 100g a day? Should I do mild or heavy exercise while doing this? I want to do this correctly without losing a lot of muscle mass. Most of the weight is in my face, chest, stomach.

This is probably gonna be my last thread here. I'm 350lbs and have a really weak painful heart, and I really want to be slim at some point in the next 5 years. I have 2 months to get started and to change habits. I have an elliptical and one set of 22lb weights. You guys decide:

how long I do what exercises a day

What I eat each day

How much water I drink

I will in fact try out your guys ideas for a week and a half, and will likely continue it after.

I'm gonna put it out there: do not exercise. At all. If you go on a crash diet and your life is a living hell from exercise you're never gonna stick to it.

Work out a meal plan, 500-800 calorie deficit, of things that you actually enjoy eating. The trick is not what you eat but how much.

Reward yourself for sticking to your plan by playing vidya and fapping and all that good shit when you would've been exercising.

Drink as much water as you want. It fills you up so guzzle it between meals if you're getting too hungry.

About your heart, don't push it too hard too fast. Just start out going for walks or something low-impact.

Remember the key to success is small, sustainable changes.
