As a 5'6'' shitskin manlet should I even try to get into lifting? I used to get into it in high school. I remember doing 350lbs leg squat and thinking it was good.

Well the question is should I start again and look like a literal turd? or let genetics take it's course?

so i just started working out, but im not seeing any progress here.

how long did it take before you started turning gay?

I use to be real in shape before i broke my back and now im this. I got the okay from my doctor to start exercising again and i tried doing my old calisthenics but i just physically cant do them and i dont remember how to start over again. Are there any trainers out there that can give me a good beginners routine to get started again?

Are you still in pain from your injury? I would suggest reseting your calisthenics program to a beginner-level. Walk/jog around your block a few times every day. Take vitamin D suppliments and calcium (tums work fine too) especially now during winter to regain any lost bone.

not really. Just from time to time when i get out alot. Like when i went out with my friends to screw around downtown my back started to hurt when i got home but not in the same way that my back hurt when it was broken. Like back then it hurt in my thighs and butt. But now it just hurts in my back. And have you ever fully recovered? And I'm just watching youtube videos and doing the work outs i see on there some of it still kicks my ass though its really discouraging to see how far my body has fallen :/

OP here again. I'm not taking vitamin supplements but I am "juicing" my "juices" consist of all organic ingredients: almond milk, plant based meal replacement protein powder, kale, spinach, romaine, some other leaves, coconut butter, hydrated chia seeds, flax seeds, pecans, and then assorted fruits, like apples, peaches mangos and a date. then i sprinkle cinnamon to make it taste better.

/fit/ I need some advice. Im shipping off to basic in a month and I feel confident that I will do well, but I don't want to stop there. I'd like to join the Ranger Regiment so I want to prepare for that type of rigorous physical demands what should I do to get strong and fast at the same time?

don't worry about it right now get a few tours under your belt, getting to regiment as an E1 will be hell.
For the most part selection is hard as fuck and muscle is pretty fucking useless work at building muscle endurance and running, the rucks are the hardest part physically

Depressed /fit/izens, how do you do it? How do you fall off the wagon and get back into lifting?

I stopped lifting when I went home for the summer and picked up some bad coping mechanisms and I can't seem to find the motivation to get back to it. How do you wake up every morning and keep going?

Just hopped on this program a few days ago.

Anyone else feel the volume is lacking? Sure, it's 5x5, but you're ramping up to heavier weights, so the first 3 sets aren't challenging.

Hey /fit/, I need some advice.
For as long as I can remember I have never gone a day using the shower at the gym without getting bare minimum a chub. I'm a 100% straight dude but for some reason my tallywhacker can't mind his fucking buisness.
