Is it possible that I'm gaining muscle weight as fast as I'm losing fat weight? I'm 6 ft tall 180 lbs. Started going to the gym 4 days a week 1 month ago. I run about 2 miles (previous running experience), sometimes I get on the bike machine, and do curls and lat extensions just to start a muscle base in my arms. I burn around 200 calories a day at the gym.

I consume 1200-1600 calories a day. I've been on this diet for a few months now. Started off at 207 lbs.

I have been hovering at 180 for around a month. Sometimes I'll drop to as low as 176 but go back up.

I'll have a cheat day maybe once every 2 - 3 weeks.

Why aren't I losing 2lbs a week? Am I really putting on leg muscle/arm muscle at the same rate I'm losing fat weight?

Getting a little discouraged here...

Your cheat days are what's doing it.

Cut them out, or up the intensity of your workout.

It's not possible to consistently gain 2 lbs of lean muscle a week. Unless you're on some very good gear, which if that's the case, start selling and make a fortune.

Can one cheat day, once a week really slow down your progress that much? To be fair when I cheat, I cheat HARD... as much terrible food as I can stomach. Probably 5k calories stuffed into a day no exaggeration.

One pound of fat lost is 3500 calories.
If you eat at a deficit of 1k a day, it will take ~3-4 days to lose 1lb of fat.
A cheat day where you eat 3.5k calories over means you gain a pound of fat.

So today i did ohp and on last rep of last set felt sharp pain behind my neck, right bellow the left trap. Can barely turn my head up and down or left right. I used to snap shit like this before, but never had such big ass pain as today. What should i do now?

Do I have autism? (I know the answer is probably yes but I'll continue)

The gym I go to has many different bars ranging from 28mm to 32mm in diameter. There are also several different benches and each one varies very slightly in dimension.

when I do OHP/squat/bench/deadlift I have to use the exact same bar/bench that I usually use otherwise it just throws me and feels weird as fuck. Similarly when I go to a new gym it feels awkward as fuck benching on a bench I'm not used to.

Is anyone else like this?

It's actually a really good non-commercial powerlifting/bodybuilding gym.

Does fapping after a workout make you lose gains. I just came from my workout and ate a huge meal then all of sudden I was horny AF. I busted a nut quickly. I know fapping makes you weaker for a while but is it bad to do it after the workout, provided that I'm done working out for the day?

So yesterday I was just about to try 3pl8s on bench for the first time. During the warmup sets I felt a slight discomfort in my left shoulder but it wasn't too bad so I kept going. Anyways so when I tried to hit my PR, as I touched my chest with the bar, my shoulder just jumped right back and you could hear it snap. At the same time a deep pain projected from the shoulder into the upper pec. Its a little bit better today, but hurts like fuck whenever i try to raise my arm. Any thoughts on what might have happened?
