Finally got ny test results back, confirming what I already knew. I have Herpes type 2.
Anyone have any experience with this? Feels like my sex life is over.

I would like to know once and for all what causes rape and sexual assault. I don't understand the argument that it is caused by a rapists desire to dominate the victim, maybe it is secondary but I see it like porn - the person (often male) who is watching porn has a strong sexual desire and feels pressured to do it. It's harder to stop than it is to start so when a woman who's attractive is provoking him, he will act on his perverted desires without really caring about anything else (similar to watching porn).
I've seen people who've been raped, both male and female are young and seemingly attractive.
I know someone who has been sexually assaulted many times, this person is attractive and the assaulters were not dominant but just felt horny so they decided to feel their bodies without asking, probably not thinking much of it.
From what I've seen, it is more about people being perverted so they constantly choose to be controlled by their sexual desire, OR they think nothing of it and don't realize they are dominating the victim by doing something they don't want.
I'm not arguing anything, just presenting my thoughts and asking. The fault is with the rapist but is it because he is trying to dominate a weak person or because he is horny and perverted, so he fails to control his sexual desire?

What the fuck is going on with me? I have constant weakness, shortness of breath (almost literally 24/7 with varying degrees of severity), chest pressure, very low exercise tolerance (even just standing up and walking is a chore) and heart palpitations. And since june, ive had trouble with getting full breaths or completing yawns. Ive been to both a cardiologist and a pulmonologist, had numerous tests done. Nothing abnormal. Not even asthma. Been to the ER so many times because of this, theyve never seen anything wrong. My doctor blames it on anxiety but ive never heard of anxiety causing shortness of breath and whatnot even when im not feeling any anxiety. She says my chest muscles are probably perpetually tightened because of long term anxiety. Im skeptical, ive never even heard of that. Im only 25 and i feel like im circling the drain. So like i asked before, what the hell is wrong with me? Anybody know of similar stories with people who suffer from anxiety?

My partner's abusive ex got my number initially and was sending me death threats via proxy. This was awful so I switched numbers. I then gave it to a girlfriend of a mutual acquaintance that I was doing a favor for, and the crazy fuck must have gotten it from her. I am pretending that my new number isn't mine and belongs to "josh" but I am just so worried I'm going to be getting more death threats. I don't want to have to change my number again! Do you have any advice for how to handle the situation now?

I few months back i went out with some friends, and i got so drunk ( drunkest i have ever been). bare with me, i don' t remember all details, only some memories.
I was walking with my friend nearby some bars and clubs, and i encounter a man, rougly my height and a lot skinnier, i am a husky guy, so the dude was a lot smaller. I don't know what he did to piss me that much off, but i head butted him in the forehead. he just took a step back and was a littte shocked. and me, being so unlucky, i did this in front of 2 cops. they saw it and cuffed me right there.
now i must say, i'm not the kind of guys who fights at all, i stay out of trouble and go to school.
i spent the night in jail, and got out next morning, i told my mom i stayed at my friends house.
a few months later i was in court and i got sentenced to 40 days prison, but i could just to 60 hours of comunity service and pay a fine of 1000$ and i would be good. i'm doing the comunity service now at a retirement home, its chill, i just do stuff like, take out the garbage. etc. i still havent told my parents, they are very strict, and they are immigrant parents, they would pretty much freak out. what should i do? my friends know but my mom and dad and siblings don't.. ( sorry for bad grammar, english is my 3 language. )

Pls no bully first time posting on /adv/
So a couple nights ago I met a girl when I was out and we started dancing together and we even made out at the club. Afterward I walked her home but she said her roommate was in so she couldn't invite me in however we made out in front of her door for at least 15 minutes if not more and we got at physical as we could without taking our clothes off. After a long time I eventually had to leave and I haven't seen her or messaged her since then yet.
Where do I go from here? Should I message her? It seemed like she was really into me but we were both drunk. I've never had much experience with girls and I've never had a gf (however I'm not a virgin as of recently) so I don't know how to really act in this situation or tell if she likes me.
She's a friend of my friends so odds are we will meet again (and I hope we do because she was really cute and easy to talk to) but I don't know what I'll really do if that happened.

Has anyone else personally dealt with alcoholism? I've been an extremely heavy drinker for the past yearish and I am concerned that I've started to do nerve damage.
Started with a light tingly numbness in my big toes (thats gone away) now I am having trouble swallowing, it feels like my throat is slightly closed or my uvula is dangling in it, its also causing a mild discomfort while breathing.
I've been googling just the symptoms and majority of the pages link alcoholism as a possible factor. Has anyone had these issues? Have they gotten better via sobriety?

My gf is pregnant (about 12 weeks, I was told) and I've been supportive and shit while I figure this out. I know the child isn't mine, as I got a vasectomy before we met (and haven't told her). I visited my urologist shortly after she told me and got confirmation that my sticky icky can't do the tricky.
