Not really looking for advice but I need to get this off my chest and talk to someone. Literally anyone please read this and reply. I'm a bit drunk after my first Christmas without my grandfather who died last year and I just... I just fucking need to talk about this ok I haven't told anyone.

Jesus fucking christ i'm tearing up just thinking about it again. I know there's a lot of atheists on this board but please just this one time pretend there is a god. Believe me when I say he repented for everything he did. He was the sweetest nicest man I have ever known. He dedicated his life to helping others in need. He volunteered. I just never realized this is what he was trying to make up for. Do you think that if there was a god that no matter how evil something someone did if he's truly sorry for what he did he can still get into heaven? I just need some closure. I really hope he's up in heaven right now watching over me.

hey bros, so i really dug myself into a hole. i was technically dating this girl from my work. it had been about a month long, and it started off well, i really fell for her and got really invested, but she turned out not what i expected. she did meth, adderall, cocaine, and more. she also was kissing another guy that she claimed was her brother but he wasnt, i dont know if she had sex with him. she would also cancel plans to go hang out with her friends (which were all guys) and get drunk until early morning. she also has a kid thats 2 (she is 20) and she barely spent time with her. she also would call me name and punch me and shit. it wasnt what i wanted in a relaationship at all... so i started talking to another ex of mine... i told her that i was single, so yeah i was with her for a few days while with the first. i intended to leave the first but i couldnt work up the courage to do it... now they've found out.

Help /adv/, I was looking up a family member's twitter and youtube account like he kept asking me to repeatedly, only to find his pornsite accounts which are the same exact username.

I know it's him, because he took photos of himself as profile pics (do people actually use real profile pics of themselves on porn sites? like what the fuck). Anyway, come to find out, he's into some fucked up shit, but his biggest turn on is incest apparently. Not sure how to feel about this. Why kind of dumbass uses the same username for his YT/twitter as his porn accounts, and doesn't expect people to find them?!

So... what should I do? Say something, confront him, tell him to change his fucking username? What would you guys do?

Hey guys I have recently been using the dating app, Bumble (basically Tinder but only the girl can make the first move initiating a conversation once you matched). I matched with a 7/10 and after chatting her up I got her number and made plans to text her next week to hang out. However, I am completely stumped on what to plan for the date. I was rejected by my friend, how do I get over this shit? It especially sucks because last year she told me she liked me and I told her I wasn't ready. She told me she'll always be my friend but it's doesn't feel right. Now she said she was hurt on her last relationship and she doesn't want that again. But she should know I wouldn't hurt her. She's been my friend since the 3rd grade. I don't have many friends besides her and I'm scares I'll be alone for the rest of my life. I don't want to date anyone else either.

So i'm a senior in college and I want to commit to eating healthier meals. The problem is that I'm a class A retard at cooking. I don't want to live off of pizzas and mcdonalds so can anyone recommend me cook books(either physical copy, Apple, Kindle) or good how to videos to learn how to cook decent meals. And before anyone says "use youtube", I tried, but at one point I tried to cook one simple meal, and I found literally 10 different ridiculous ways to cook it. Help?

I'm early 20s, female, and have trouble finding partners. It's not from a lack of interest from men (so from extrapolation I would assume I'm not unattractive), it's just that they don't really want a relationship, or if they do they're not the kind of man who I want to spend long periods of my life with.

I just want a guy who reads, and does some kind of creative thing (I am a musician myself, but other artistic endeavours are equally worthwhile).

Big cars and lots of money do not really grab me; I live in a city and can walk or ride my bike everywhere, and I care about the planet so don't want to maintain a car (I can drive though, and do basic mechanical stuff), and I make my own clothes, since I don't like a lot of mainstream clothing styles.

So how do I find men who are not only interested in sex or very (imo) boring?

Does she not like me if she never texts me first and usually stops responding first? She seems to like me in person and usually talks to me first, but she was also avoidant of me for some time and I don't know why. She does A LOT of things that confuse me and being rejected by her would be super bad since all her friends are mine.

I guess it's not actually a love triangle. But sort of. So I used to be friends with this couple, they broke up a couple years ago, but I'm still friends with each of them. The guy and are good friends from high school, and I made friends with his girlfriend by default. The three of us hung out a lot. The whole time we were all friends, the guy was really trusting of me and didn't mind that I would sometimes hang out with her alone at their house. There were times where her and I would lay in the same bed fall asleep together as we watched movies. We never did anything, I respected my friend and their relationship too much. Don't get me wrong though, I definitely would.

Now here's my dilemma. They broke up and I'm still friends with both of them. They both know I still hang out with each of them. She's in another relationship now, with a guy that was the reason for their breakup. But one day we had this conversation: i asked her

So do I fuck her? I respect my guy friend and I wouldn't want to "betray" him. We're all adults, we should all be able to do whatever we want. But at the same time I wouldn't want to possibly ruin a good friendship over some pussy, considering he may find out and resent me for it.
Would it be weird if I at least ran it by my friend to see what he thinks? Is it even worth it? Idk. Your thoughts /adv/?
