I've always hated the way I look and I think it stems from being bullied consistently when I was slightly younger. I hate taking pictures of myself at all and it's impacted my self confidence massively too. Does anyone else feel the same way about themselves?

The tenant who lives below me in an apartment complex has a habit of constantly singing and talking really LOUDLY with her roommate/friend/whatever.
I have to put on headphones to concentrate on my work. Often I have to wait till 11pm for some peace & quiet.

Not sure where you live but in the UK you can complain to your local authority about noise nuisance. They'll ask to you to keep a diary of the times it's causing a problem (date, time, length, what the problem was etc) and they'll then speak to her, usually via a letter.

This is a thorny issue, and ultimately you have no real recourse. Were it loud music you'd have a legitimate complaint. Were it late at night, you'd have a legitimate complaint.
But here your neighbor does have a point - you cannot ask her to whisper in her own home.
You've got two areas of possible relief. If the landlord knows that the building's construction makes noise travel vertically, he might be convinced that not just you but everyone would be happy with a little soundproofing, if only new carpets.
And if you make some effort to befriend your neighbor you might develop a friendly enough relationship that would let you ask (not demand) that she tone it down the night before an exam or something like that.

I have a bit of a unique question.
My friend thinks he's a smart but lazy type because he has bretty gud standardized test scores but literally flunked classes that were essentially show up and learn. He thinks that getting high scores means that he's much smarter than people who aced intense classes, but didn't do as well on standardized testing.
How do I convince him that "smart but lazy people" aren't as "smart" as they think they are? Granted, I know that getting decently high scores is a great feat and I'm proud of him, but I don't feel like dealing with that egotism.

Usually what happens is they continue along this path of the "smart but lazy" until they fuck up or get average scores to have an average life and average family. Or what I've seen with my friends start hard drugs. My guess is they just had some smartness and general knowledge at one point and just cruised through life there on learning very little. But to answer your question who's smarted, obviously the guys who aced the classes. it doesn't matter how much time they put in really when its only the actually test takers future on the line.

I know of someone who was raped at 12 years old in 2007 by her neighbor she babysat for. He (obviously) terrified and threatened her with killing her if she told and this continued for up to 2+ years. I am very sure his wife is aware, as she walked in on her screaming from their room, and has told her not to come back - it didn't stop him however. He would email her to get her to come over. She has written an extensive story (discusting) and all that is needed is evidence and/or a confession... Note that she had reported it to the police but didn't seem to care to provide a warrent to search his hard drive as it had been too long/no evidence (no shit, on his hard drive...). It has been some time now but she still wants justice.
IF the email account still exists and can be hacked into, can the emails be recovered even if they are likely deleted?
If this cannot be done what other options can be taken?
As my shitty luck would have it, I happen to work at the same location as him. I have been biting my tounge on making a copy of the story, drop it on his desk and demand a confession as it includes common emails he would send - a bit of a scare tactic... Now I realize this could backfire on me a bit which is why I haven't done it.
I have also thought about mass emailing the thousands of employees and lettering his entire neighbor hood in a mile radius the story in a manner to stay anonymous.
Speaking of, if the group "Anonymous" can really do anything now is the time I'd need the help.
And because it's a small world here and I don't give a shit about this fuck, here's who he is, as I'm sure someone here works out here.

How do I stop being unable to find things interesting?
