Anyone with ideas for casual mobile k-related game?
>>31159508
I have igunProHD
Sorry, asked wrong question. I'm starting out developer. Thought it would be fun to make some small k-related game, but don't have ideas atm.

Megaman clone, but with real guns?
You pick up the bosses weapons.
Anyone have experience with the SCCY CPX-1 or CPX-2 as a daily carry piece to give their impressions on it?
>>31159474
Are you thinking about buying one for a daily carry?
>>31159521
that would appear to be the purpose of the thread.

>those white plastic frames
we sci-fi guns now
I like to bring my p38 to the can with me, whats your favorite gun to shit with?
>>31159464
>unloaded
>safety on
You don't deserve that Post-1945 P.38, I'll give you $150 for the upper.

Depends on whatever I'm sleeping with that day. I rotate quite a few of my pistols in, because I'm a prima donna when it comes to my guns.
Well I rotate the gun I shit with depending on the kind of shit it feels like.
If it's going to be kinda messy, even runny, I shit with my mossberg.
If it's going to be a long drawn out battle, bring my AR.
If it's just a little quickie, or I'm just taking a piss, I grab my sig p229.
Now I also keep a Glock 17 in the top of all the toilets in my house. A total of 3.
Put them in three zip lock bags, check every other week for leaks.
Now do you guys have shower guns? What about fridge guns?
Hey /k/.
I was wondering, how effective are incendiary weapons in combat?
Flame throwers, thermobaric weapons, white phosphorous, etc are always portrayed in media as being extremely effective, and many forms of heat/fire based weapons have been outlawed.
Of course, there's the pain/indiscriminate aspect of them, but are they really as effective as you would be led to believe?
>>31159459
Thermite grenades are attached to comms. If you are overrun, you pull the pin so they will melt through and destroy everything.

bump with this video of a kid who apparently got hit by white phosphorus

I meant more in terms of use on the enemy, rather than to sabotage your own equipment.
Where can I find cheap stripped ar lowers. No polymer shit. Everything I see is $50+ what happened to the $35 Andersons? I want to order at least 10
>>31159392
>what happened to $35
Demand happened. $50 is a fair price. $70 is a fair price. Just wait until January and then see if you're bitching about $70. Buy all you can reasonably afford.
Everyone else had the same idea, op. Act faster next time.

Would pic related cut off 7.62x39 act like a hollowpoint in some aspect?
More pic related
>>31159345
It would probably just have a super fucked up trajectory. If you really want to make ghetto hollow points, pulling and turning a regular bullet backwards (presuming it is the standard type that doesn't jacket the bottom) can work while only slightly fucking up the accuracy. One of the few fuddlore things that actually works.
>>31159345
It might act like a soft point bullet. It also might KB your rifle. The base of that bullet is very likely open. meaning you have a chunk of lead inside a tapered lead tube. Upon firing, it is very possible for the jacket to stick midway down the barrel and only the lead core will shoot out the barrel. When you fire the next round, you will kaboom your rifle.
Does anyone on /k/ have good knowledge on the BUMED waiver process for the Marines? My recruiter's boss called me yesterday from my recruiter's phone, said my recruiter would be unavailable on leave until the end of the week, and that my BUMED waiver was approved but I have to DEP in this Friday or it expires.
This guy has a reputation for getting bodies by any means necessary so I don't really trust him, I can't contact my recruiter who I more or less trust, I've done what searching I can on the internet, and I've tried asking other people but to no avail on whether or not a BUMED waiver can actually expire in a week. I won't bore you guys with the details but I had something personally important to do Friday and I'm scared to death I might end up losing the girl I love which is why I'm so against DEPing in this Friday. Any advice?
Good luck
>I'm scared to death I might end up losing the girl I love
Jesus Christ she's gonna cheat on you anyway if you're joining the Marines.

Bruh
I understand you are young and all, but other people in this thread are going to post some very real shit that you probably will not like to hear.
You really need to listen to them to save yourself a really shitty next 10 years.
Alright /k/, I'm a novice when it comes to guns. I own zero of my own (I have a lower receiver) and I shot for the first time earlier this year. So know that I'm not trying to start a shitstorm if this turns out to be one of those questions.
What's your favorite bolt action rifle? I'm looking for something that's low to mid price range, legal to purchase in the US, hopefully in a common caliber. I just fired a scoped rifle for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it felt good, looking to get one of my own now. I guess if you have a favorite scope for that rifle as well that would be appreciated as well.
I tend to split bolt actions into three categories:
1. Military surplus
2. Hunting, tactical, long range and completion specific
3. Rimfire
What are you actually looking to do with it, how do you want to shoot it?
>>31158969
If you buy a Milsurp bolt gun, M1917 Enfields, 1903 Springfields, and Mosins are your best options.
They all have very common calibers.
>>31158969
>I own zero of my own
>I own a lower
ATF pls go
Okay attempt three. So after fucking up this post twice, let's see if I can get this right. I'm looking into getting a shotgun for home and land defense, really sick of crackheads running off with my tools and such(Live down in the boonies in Hawaii.), I'm looking into grabbing a shotgun ideally in the under 400$ range but I'm a bit lost as to what would be good for what I need it for.
>>31158844
Also probably of note. I am absolutely tiny. I'm a 5'4" 100 nothing manlet who may very well struggle to handle any "larger" weapons.
>>31158844
Go crossbow and shovel crackheads have too many protections in Hawaii and your state is or soon is going full registration mode
>>31158875
Hawaii has no duty to retreat when on your own property, though if I understand the law correctly I'm also not supposed to use lethal force unless I have "Reasonable suspicion" that I face bodily harm. Either way, cops don't seem to give too much of a shit about crackheads.
If these guys block my vehicle and refuse to move I'm pretty much weapons free right? Just checking.
Not until they start messing with your car.
But as soon as one smacks your window, or hits your hood with one of their signs...go for it.

>taking legal advice from /k/
>>31158741
Yeah man you can just open up on em
Some bitch was trying to cross the road with her kid who was pissing about, so I got out my truck and mag dumped into both of them, sheriff even gave me a medal for it
I want to serve, but I'm far too clever to be enlisted. I'd rather be an officer than be in with the enlisted neanderthals. Any tips on join the army? British btw.
>>31158678
So intelligent you can't figure it out yourself..

All us army soldiers are now 3 times as strong, what would change in terms of equipment?
>>31158636
3 times as much to carry
>>31158636
Get them some benches so marines can handle it
They would carry 4x the equipment they normally do.
Hey /k/. I went to the range last weekend and my Para Ordinance 1911 was acting up. As I was firing some .45 remanufactures and some NOT remanufactured .45 Hollow points from freedom munitions, some of the casings looked badly mangled. Even the primer flew off of one. Has anyone ever had this issue?
Here's a picture of the primer side of the casing. Looks pretty bad.
>>31158412
Wow, We're you firing +P? Have you fired +P through it? If so, enough to foul the spring maybe?
Lastly, as I was cleaning the slide I noticed that the rail the slide rides on is a little gouged, but may be unrelated.
Good choice for a first AR?
Yes, great option for a full AR. You might be better off building an AR yourself though. You can buy the furniture you want instead of sticking with pre-built options.
It's like building a computer vs ordering a prebuilt. Both will work great but you'll probably save money and get more out of it if you build.
Or you can do what I did and buy a preowned but barely fired rifle in a private sale that had what I wanted already for $150 less than I would spend to build it. pic related
Yes.
It does everything a basic AR has to do.
>>31158290
Yep its its fine
stay away from that "MOE edition" though, you can get the same thing a lot cheaper through PSA
Get the Sport II
Shitposting aside what do you actually think about mud tests?
When's the last time you actually, accidently or purposely, submerged your entire fire arm in mud?
Useless.
>>31158270
I don't worry about them because I will never be in a situation where I will not be able to clean my gun if I drop it in a giant puddle of mud.
>>31158270
Fun tests
They show that some guns don't work sometimes.
