Oh shit /k/ a xenomorph is in your house/apartment building! To make matters worse you're trapped inside. What do you do?
Hard mode: there's a queen and eggs in your place of work, and you only have yourself and your coworkers to stand up to the threat. How do you fare?
I find this a lot more interesting than zombie what ifs.
>>31163059
Die.
I'm fucked. Canonically, Xenomorphs are bulletproof, the only reason the marines could hurt them is because all their weapons were explicitly firing AP. Even if I can get to my safe, Ive got nothing that can beat them.
What pattern is this?
Inb4 grimesfag. I'm usually lurking on here as opposed to /mu/.
Also, any nuggetfests in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas or Missouri region ever?
Don't rest the brownies

It looks like it's just the standard US Surplus Woodland Camo.

Fuck off, Grimesfag.
Really gotta shut up two boards?

>America…It seems to me that, if you live in a place where people are packing, you probably shouldn’t let your kids wander about alone, regardless of clowns but, you know, I’m not a parent…
Amazing how one can spin this article to that.
attach a squeaky clown nose to a mine.
Play clown music to lure clowns

So a friend of a friend has a Ruger that shoots .40 and I said my 10mm Glock is better. Thought I would send him this as a joke. He didn't think it was funny.
He responded with this. What do I say to tell him off?
sounds like your friend can't handle your bantz
get new ones
>owning a semi-auto pistol in anything but 9mm
Honestly, you're both idiots
Can't we do better?

What kind of explosive yield would a modern day nuclear arms race give us? Are there superior alternatives to nuclear reactions that could give mankind even bigger yields than Tsar Bomba. Various volcanic explosions are bigger than anything a Tsar Bomba clone could pull off.
>>31162668
>What kind of explosive yield would a modern day nuclear arms race give us?
If raw yield was the objective, then probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 75-100 Mt as a deliverable device.
>Are there superior alternatives to nuclear reactions that could give mankind even bigger yields than Tsar Bomba.
Nothing practical.
>Can't we do better
Yes but politics and treaties
I would think that we (as a world) we be capable of making a nuclear device capable of 100 Mt but that would be the extreme end, tsar bomba is probably the end of the actually usable size.
You reach a point where it just gets too big to practically use and tsar bomba is it.
Take one ton space rock.
Position with some good calculus.
Paint one side white, face towards Sun.
Let the Yarkovsky effect guide rock towards a target of your choosing. Cheap, simple, cna be done with cheap probes. Doesn't require deep space travel to find a nice candidate.
And depending on your choice, bigger yield than anything Tsar Bomba could pull off. Nukes are boring. We need to arrive at the next era of WMDs.
Did I mess up with cleaning my m44 stock? I generously used murphys oil soap and lots of water. Didn't remove all of the old finish because I just noticed how fucked it was. will provide pictures
That's it for all, can provide more pictures if needed
Is there a practical use for these 37mm flare launchers?
>>31162084
Yes
Yes, night time illumination.
Also your a fucking faggot for asking stupid fucking questions.
>>31162084
make your own HE 37mm rounds...
This little ship, weighing in at least than 3500 tonnes with full load, can carry and deploy up 500 naval mines. Why doesn't the US have any equivalent ship class? A small fleet of these babies could blockade all of china in less than a week.
Conversely, why does the navy have so few minesweepers in service? China could build these vessels and there would be no way to counter them with just 11 minesweepers. Every carrier strike group should have a dedicated minesweeper designed to be fast enough to keep up with the carrier.
US doesn't play in its own backwater, its all about playing in the other guys.
>Conversely, why does the navy have so few minesweepers in service? China could build these vessels and there would be no way to counter them with just 11 minesweepers. Every carrier strike group should have a dedicated minesweeper designed to be fast enough to keep up with the carrier.
Well, at the lower end of the engagement scale the US tends to allow the slack to be supported by allies and partners, so you'll have navies who can't afford murderkiller Burkes or their own DDs, but can afford to maintain a fleet with niche capability. By doing this they become force multipliers and can contribute far more to a task force or coalition.
iirc though that the LCS were supposed to help fill the numbers.
>>31162000
Like most Chinese superweapons, the minelayer can be countered by firing missiles at it.
>>31162000
>Conversely, why does the navy have so few minesweepers in service?
The USN is trying to fix that as we speak along with ASW SW screening by trying to backdoor the LCS through in meaningful numbers as a "Frigate" instead of a mine warfare/ASW specialist. The USN has tried to get a few projects off the ground to replace the Avenger class, but they get shot down before requirements are even set by people protecting other big projects. 20 years later, and here we are: the Avengers are almost 30 years old (ancient for a wooden hulled naval ship) and the LCS MCM suite still isn't complete because they're having to keep doing a fucking rain dance to keep it funded.
They're super cheap and all the reviews are great. Anyone have on?

Good afternoon /k/
As promised I would purchase the RAS47 to give it a chance at redemption from it's online stigma. I stated I would have several tests to run it through but also wanted ideas from you guys, also, for some reason AK mags are drying up where I am located so I therefore require a little more time to purchase those, I did however pick up a 3rd Gen Pmag to see if there were differences in the feeling the magwell. Aside from shooting it at this time, ask me questions, tell me what you want me to do.
No one? Nobody's interested in seeing if the RAS is as bad as the internet makes it out to be?
I'm here, anon.
>>31162030
nobody cares about your opinion about a gun youve owned for 1 day. come back a 3 thousand rounds or a year later with nicely documented data.
So I got my first non-magnifying optic for my funs, the Bushnell TRS-25.
It sits nicely, seems to work great. However upon closer inspection, I noticed that there appears to be a "blind area" for the dot in the upper left corner of the sight. Gif very related.
Is this normal, or is my piece just defective ?
We can make this optics thread as well!
>>31161797
You bought a low end peice of shit, what did you expect?
>>31161826
Dunno, the overall reception appeared mostly positive for this piece, and these gadgets tend to cost roughly 2x more than in the States.
Does not answer my question, tho'.
bumping with mindfuck
You're in your dingy catching trash fish when suddenly you see a destroyer flying this flag heading towards you and you hear it scream RAMMING SPEED
What do you do?

Is the Infrantry Rifle Platoon and Squad Field Manual better than the Rangers Handbook for SHTF situations?
I mean I get that the Ranger is more modern but it seems like it utilizes a full fledged military arsenal , or a large group of trained personnel. Which I don't think the average /k/ommando will have access to.
Where as the Infantry one seems to teach techniques that would be useful to any survivor or small group.
Does anyone else agree? Can someone enlighten me on this?

Just buy and read both, you waste of space faggot. Kys.
SH 21-76 is like a compendium.
Fm 3-7/ Fm 3-21 is for larger squad patrolling.
You should read both. As well as the scout platoon and pathfinder fm.
God, I wish I could find one of these for sale.
