What the fuck. Time to buy a Glock. Anyone in Colorado wanna buy a Sig Sauer P226R in 9mm?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuPOqDlaX6U
It fired all the rounds, just didn't eject the last one of each mag.
It's not like the sig turned into a brick that wasn't able to shoot.
Where were you when ForgottenWeapons ruined /k/?
Glock reliability isn't anything new OP. Neither is SIG shittyness.
is it possible to kill someone with a 22-cal pump air pistol?
>>31146955
Probably

>>31146955
yes with good shot placement, but a rifle would be nastier since you can probably get more power behind that pellet with a proper spring, and get some nasty hunting pellets to actually expand like intended
Best long slide 9mm coming thru

Block nice try
Hey big bro, mind if I come too?
>>31146881
You're my hero
okay /k/ what are the benifites of using a sword over a mace, axe or warhammer
>>31143873
like all weapons, a lot of it depends on the user. Someones ability is less dependent on the weapon and more on their ability. I prefer a longsword over a shortsword, rapier, dagger, or other one handed weapon just because its what I have more experience with (although im no expert, i just am lucky enough to be apart of ARMA because its at my college)
There are great benefits. Each one will get you shot, if that's your type of thing.
>>31143873
Being able to parry and make thrusting attacks while still being able to also slash and chop if necessary.
Is The Road /k/ino?
i watched that until the guy started giving instructions to the little kid about how to commit suicide
i think they tried a little too hard to be edgy but i dunno, i never finished it because it got that stupid
Only Kino is /k/ino.

Anime?
Level IV, III+, or III?
Side plates or no?
For SHTF locally, not for long term

From a legal standpoint
Are you in more trouble for wounding a home invader then outright killing them?
Like if you fill his belly full of shot and he lives but with major complications. Colonoscopy bag, dialysis, wheel chair bound, the works.
depends on the state.
but in most cases you better turn him into chunky salsa as fucked as that sounds in a lot of states they can sue you if they live so I mean, would you rather be alive? or alive with all your money going to the guy who just tried to rob you.
>>31141804
I agree with the gist of what you're saying, but also note that there have been situations where the fucker died and the family still sued successfully. This shit's civil court, not criminal so the standard of evidence turn from "Beyond a reasonable doubt," to basically 50% plus one additional piece of evidence, ie who ever has the majority. But in all honesty, fucking kill the dude.
A) You might not actually incapacitate the threat, and you could get your shit wrecked.
B) It's a lot easier to defend from a legal standpoint in criminal court ( you fighting off charges for defending yourself ) if one side can't lie about their side of the story.
In summation, mag dump.
Just my 2 cents though.
>>31141804
Exactly what this guy said. Depends on the state, but if you're going to shoot you're almost ALWAYS better off killing them
So, I want to get myself a 9mm for home defence purposes, perhaps the /k/ hive mind can give me advice.
>What model should I go for?
>What are its advantages and disadvantages?
>How much is it going to set me back?
>Any special catchy features that you like?
Been thinking about the Steyr M9, it's a native product and I dig the ergonomics.
Get a 10mm. Trust us.
Do you live someplace with shared walls? If so, get a rifle with frangible ammunition to keep from over penetrating.
>>31140825
No. Got my own house just for myself sadly.

Nice try, Lockhe
'Sup /k/.
What are you working on?
My AR-7 model with custom stock is progressing nicely. The bolt model is ~75% complete (mostly missing the scalloped section under the bolt where the mag goes and a few holes for pins/springs). Got the bolt handle done... I'll be starting work on the inside dimensions of the receiver soon.
How are your projects coming along?
>>31139431
nice solidworks...
>>31139455
It's an older version (2013), but it works fine for now. I'm too lazy to update it, lol.
Oh look, it's the only reason to buy a VP9, for your Glock, for $20. This is why having a deep aftermarket matters; it makes buying new guns redundant.
0/10
Let me dig through my gallery to see if I saved it, but I found some gun from at least the 1970s that had wings.
Not that your argument isn't retarded
>>31139363
>VP9
do you really think the wings are what define a vp9?
I'm thinking of buying a .44 mag revolver for bear and "other" protection while innawoods hiking and shit.
Any decent revolvers for less than $600?
What's a good website to bookmark and monitor for deals/etc?
And Bubba at the local gun shop is telling me a .44 mag is better than 10mm for protection against bears/etc?
>>31120810
10mm will down moose and black bears.
.44mag will down moose and black bears.
monitor armslist and gunbroker for deals. 600$ wont get you a lot in the way of .44 mags. Maybe a used Ruger Redhawk or similar styles.
>>31120810
>"other"
It's ok.
You can say "niggers" here, brother
>>31120826
Which one would you choose, 10mm or .44mag?
Thanks for the tip on the website.
Was considering glaawk 10mm...but Bubba told me .44mag is way to go.
What do you guys think of palmetto state armory?
you get what you pay for
i bought an upper and a couple complete lowers from them on sale, would recommend.
What do I think? Good affordable guns with tons of available options.
What shouldn't I do during a SHTF scenario?

Suck off dudes while driving.
Hey, /k/.
Currently noguns, but I've been around them my whole life. I've got a fair bit of experience with them, and tomorrow I'm getting my grandfather's 870 Wingmaster. He also has a custom Henry .44 that I'll have once I have a safe.
Wife is progun and wants a carry piece, as do I. Any suggestions on first handgun purchases and maybe even a safe to recommend?
>>31118823
Glock 19 is generic, small enough to carry, big enough for combat, cheap to feed, easy to clean, reliable as fuck. Its a great one to buy, practice, train with and get comfortable around handguns before moving around.
Honda Civic of cars, one-size-fits-all and generic enough for most tasks.
Take CC classes at a reputable, responsible instructor and take their recommendations. Ask around others for some advice.
It's a very broad question, generally speaking. I know some people that carry full size handguns. I know others that swear by subcompacts. It's personal preference, experience and requirement rolled into one. I carried a CZ75 for years and I grew fond of it. Others hate the things.
What I'm driving at here is that it's a deadly weapon and you should be carrying it to prevent yourself from being harmed, or your loved ones. With that in mind, whatever you feel the most confident and suitable carrying should be the firearm you go with. There may be a day when you have to use the thing (you should hope to God there isn't), so make sure it's the best tool for the job.
>>31118865
I often found teaching people to shoot with Glocks (who had never shot before) was very easy and yielded good results, but that people who had experience with other handguns tended to dislike them or at least have their preference elsewhere.
OP could do far worse than a Glock. I'm not a fan, but they're exactly as you said.
