There are plenty of fantastic modern BRs around, you just need to not be a poorfag (let's be honest, or even an averagefag) if you want to play with them.

USP is known for being heavily reliable. Also, if you want to know about suppressors on it, look up the Mk 23

Either is fine. 9mm 147gr would be my preference, if you really want to suppress.
