really thought they would have went with the SCAR
Repose en paix, cher FAMAS. You will be missed by...possibly just me.
So, what are my odds of picking up a surplus G2 parts kit, guys? Less than zero? Jesus, I'd kill for one....
The year is 1000. Several dozen xenomorphs have descended upon your Viking town. How do you fight them off?
>For fuck's sake they told me that Jesus Christ guy was coming to stop shit like this.
>Son, get me my axe.
>xenomorphs
you don't.

US military and the various agencies around it are one of the most bloated organizations in history. Tonnes of money, and they have to spend it some how.
That's how we get detailed plans like for an invasion of Canada, or a zombie outbreak in the US, etc.
What's the bare minimum dollar value, and how should it be spent, for the US to retain supreme authority over the globe? No waste at all.
Do away with an army and just focus on nukes and an impenetrable missile shield? (I can't nuke you, but you can't touch me, so do as I say).
>>31166920
protip, 'zombie outbreak in the US' and 'invasion from Canada' are weaselspeak for 'quelling armed citizen resistance'.

Factual.
>more lumens=better performance
>>31166869
>beginners must learn on .22
>.22 being used at all
>>31166894
It's cheap.
>>31166894
better than .25 acp
I'm building an AR15 in 6.5 Grendel, Don't try to talk me into another round, I've already settled. Granted, I am stuck in a rut of weather or not to buy a complete upper, or buy parts individually. What do, /k/?
>>31166788
Go 6.5 spc instead
>>31166828
Not only has OP stated he has chosen 6.5 Grendel already
It's 6.8 SPC you fucking moron
>>31166788
Depends on what you want in an upper? Buying a complete upper is usually cheaper, but it's easier to personalize it when you build it yourself. Regardless, don't cheap out on the barrel. Shit barrel = shit rifle.
Gun prawn bread
bonus points for Hi Power
Hopefully that will be my first handgun if they don't shoot up in price by November.
>>31166701
Would a Rhodesian FAL and GP35 get bonus points?
>>31166706
They haven't shot up in a long time so no worries. Coles Dist. has been staying steady with their FEG and BHP prices since like, 2010. Those are also slurp handguns so you are gonna be getting some real battle buds.
/k/ I'm trying to get into guns I've got a budget of about 500 USD what's a good gun to start with, something fun/easy and easy to maintain
>>31166695
What kind of shooting do you want?
Tacticool? Long range/precision? Hunting? Pistols for the range? Pistol for self defense?
C'mon man.
>>31166714
Something be tacticool on the range mostly
If you're going to do a pistol, start off with a full-frame. 9mm is fun and ammo is cheap. Go used.
Does /k/ know how to fight unarmed? Do you practice? What? What do you think is most practical?
I've been learning some basics of Taekwondo from a gym buddy who was an instructor and competitor at a decent level. While I'd never put much stock in styles aside from ground grappling and Irish fisticuffs, I've actually found TKD moves to be very practical to integrate into self defense and close quarters in our "open style" sparring matches. It seems quite applicable to use TKD punches, offensive blows, and thrown elbows in real life.
>>31166656
The last fight I was in ended when I ripped a bloody chunk out of a dudes thigh with my teeth.
>>31166656
The reason you find the moves practical is because everyone else is using it too.
I'm not saying it's useless, and I know it's said to death, but if you want to fight, look MMA.
You're not going to be doing a standing fight trying to get axe kicks and fancy elbows into people, people are idiots, and the vast majority have no idea how to fight, so they latch onto each other. Learn your takedowns and ground fighting.
>>31166656
I do a bit of boxing and grappling. Learned most of it from a co-worker and my wife, respectively. I need to limber up more for doing kicks and footwork properly.

I just recently watched Tremors again, and I had completely forgot how /k/ this fucking man is. Any other movies with guys like him?
>>31166596
He's anti gun in real life. Fuck this faggot and fuck you too for supporting him.
Who is John Wick. Who is Johnny Mnemonic. Who is Johnny Utah. Who is Neo.
/thread
>>31166650
When will this meme end
He's not anti or pro, he doesn't have a proper stance on it.
Also you can't /thread your own post you fucking sperg.
>>31166596
Ever since seeing this movie my goal has been to have a Gunwall to rival Burt's.
Sup /k. I'm moving to California soon and I feel the need to buy 5 new handguns to bring with me. What should they be and why?
>moving to California
you're going the wrong way, friend
Whatever the fuck you want, just don't tell nobody. I'm in CA, nobody cares as long as you're not retarded with them.
>>31166561
>moving to commiefornia
You've already fucked up.
Should I get one, /k/? Has Taurus gotten their shit together in quality control?
My friend owns one and as far as I could tell, the G2 is a solid gun for the price.
I would be wary of anything else though, especially their revolver lineup.
>>31166536
As far as this model goes, yes.
The trigger pull is still pretty bad, though.
For about the same price you can buy a Walther PPS and not worry about HUE QC costing you your hand or your life
Does anyone use the x95 as your main weapon?
>>31166509
I know somebody with th Jew Gun. I've shot it a decent amount. I actually kind of like it. The trigger is heavy, but not as much of an issue as I thought it would be.
I still don't like how it feels as much as a conventional layout, but it's shootable.
>>31166509
Tbh I like the older version better. The angled handguard felt better to me, the charging handle placement was easier for me, and the 'thumbknuckle' mag release was starting to really grow on me. I will admit the pushbutton mag release up front is definitely an improvement, as well as the trigger pull.
>>31166509
Primary arms had them for like $1.6k but they sold out in an instant.
I'd like a green one like in OP but they're selling out everywhere despite the stupid high price tag for a half-plastic jewgun that doesn't even have a free-floated barrel and puts groups the size of an elephant at 100 yds.
Besides the United States
What are some other countries with great gun laws?
>>31166502
Greenland, Antarctica, the middle east if you're a Sunni muslim male land owner
czech republic
also switzerland's laws aren't as magical as everybody makes them out to be
>>31166502
Cyprus
All of Saharan Africa
Does /k/ like any gun magazines? I have a bit of free time between classes and am thinking of getting some magazine subscriptions so I can put them on my coffee table and look like a dysfunctional veteran.
They don't tell me anything I couldn't learn online for free.
>>31166478
I enjoy me some magazines.
Try 'Recoil'
>>31166488
Pretty much, and most of them are pretty much advertisments for gun paraphernalia.
RECOIL has nice production values though.
dat sexy thick paper
Just wait a few months before you get your first 9. A lot of companies are competing for the modular contract with the military so they're coming out with guns like the Sig p320 and Ruger American. Just wait a bit longer if you can for some really cool new stuff.
>>31166403
P320 already came out and Ruger American sucks dick.
Got a chance to shoot a p320 recently. The bore axis was really high, and the grip wasn't angled enough. I much prefer my Glock.
>>31166413
Yeah but there's going to be more.
>>31166420
Is Glock participating for the modular contract?
