The Browning M2 .50 Caliber machine gun was invented towards the end of World War 1. It's still being used around the world, usually mounted on armored vehicles.

My question is how is this nearly 100 year old gun so excellent at its job?

I genuinely can't stand shit posting. I really can't. It's the most autistic, pointless thing a person could actually find "entertaining". The idea that you think it's hilarious wasting hours of your "life" trying to bait people into replying to your shitty half arsed posts speak numbers about how lonely and pathetic you must be to get entertained doing this

It probably seems counter productive for me to write this, because shit posting genuinely makes me angry. It seems like it's near impossible to have a genuine discussion on this board without some fuckwit chiming in to say something stupid like "freshcunt" or "newcunt fresh off the boat from facebook or reddit detected".

I know that this will probably get a bunch of you stupid cunts replying to me calling me the "autistic" one for actually speaking up, because I genuinely want to have a discussion about something instead of being barraged with retarded responses that will no doubt have me reply to you about your stupid pointless comments.

Moderation is largely pointless because you all seem to use dynamic ips anyway so no matter what you'll continue your shit posting like it's some normal part of your everyday life.

The fact that anyone ever calls you out on your bullshit and you try and defend it, or continue replying in a shit posting fashion is childish as fuck considering most of you on here are at least 18-30 years old.

Fuck all your shit posting antics. Kill yourselves. You're not funny, or witty, or original, or entertaining. You're literally all rehashes of one another trying to be unique and funny, when you're all doing the same thing. Your pathetic "lives" while you sit here day in and day out shit posting are being wasted away because you find it hilarious to get people worked up 24/7. It's like you cunts are addicted to shit posting. Like you get a dopamine response from it or something.

Rant over cunts. Fuck off.

The M60 is vulnerable to virtually any operational ATGM. The Turks have hundreds of Leopard 2s. Why not use them instead?

Why risk your top of the line stuff. At best the SAA has T-72s in that area and ISIS has whatever they can capture. The M60s should be able to deal with that.
If you're taking ATGM hits then you have already done something wrong.

Got to get rid of the old stock before you commit the valuable kit

Just signed an 11x option 40 contract. I'm 24 and just quit my job on wall street in ny because I fucking hate it and I've wanted to be an airborne ranger for the past decade. Parents hate me now and friends think I'm a nut. I don't ship out for basic a few months. Current 5 mile time is 36 min, I'm at 75 push ups and 85 sit ups. Any tips on getting into rucking? It's the one thing I don't have any experience with.

Dont just try to jump into it. Learn how to properly pack a ruck, good form and wear appropriate shoes. There are plenty of guides online. Just Google it.

Is there another Wall St that I'm not aware of ?

I was thinking of joining the Navy and currently I am debating between two rates.
I auto qualify for the nuclear program and I can be a nuclear engineer but, I was never good at math or physics so I'm hesitant.
I'm really interested in intelligence having taken a few intelligence courses at university. I think being an Intelligence specialist can be fun.
What do you guys think or am I on the wrong board?

I live in Texas. How does carrying while camping work? If I only keep my gun in my tent do I need a CHL? What about transporting the firearm to the campsite? If it's in my backpack do I require a CHL to hike my firearm to the campsite?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I've never owned a firearm before, but after some sketchy encounters at night while camping, I'd like to be able to have something in the tent while I sleep.

Finally what's a good and safe (for me and my fellow hikers) self defense weapon? I'm thinking some type of glock like a g26 or 43 so it won't add too much excess weight. Are there any cheaper alternatives? the 4-500 dollar price tags on the glocks are pretty hefty for a student like me.

Not sure about the laws or any of that but I'd humbly suggest the G20. OC that bitch out in the woods. Plenty of power for both four legged and two legged attackers.

I'm a hunter and I keep that as my hunting sidearm. Usually run into coyotes when I'm bowhunting deer.
>>
>>31154941
Nevermind, just saw your price range. Let me find another alternative.
>>
Ask your county sheriff, they should know and be happy to inform you.

Here in Utah when I go camping I just OC and sleep with it by my side, but I use a hammock instead of a tent

Is Tulammo acceptable range ammo in 9mm? What effect does the steel casing have?
47 posts and 9 images submitted.
>>
>>31154808
You have to replace parts sooner with steel case, but the cost saving more than makes up for it. If you don't reload, there's no real reason not to use it for target ammo.
>>
Yes. The steel case fire forms less to the chamber, allowing more carbon to go back into the action, getting your gun a little dirtier. The zinc/steel jacket wears the barrel a little faster, but the savings more than make up for it. It is okay range ammo.
>>
>>31154846
What about steel case .45? I've heard .45 has a low bolt thrust; would that help?

What does /k/ think of the Auto Ordinance m1 carbine? id like it most as pic related id get an original but id be worried about damaging it is this a good alternative?

They are alright. Wire frame stocks suck ass on the m1carb though. They look great though. The solid stock points incredibly natural...wire not..
>>

so what if i got a full stocked version?
>>
>>31154617
I would get an original and just not worry about damaging it. The m1carb is ak47 tier as far as a beater rifle goes. Scratches and dings are character.
