In my experience I feel like it's just a shock to the body. Takes about a month for the gi to adjust to new diet.
Try and wean into it a bit slower and replace one thing at a time. Like first week swap pizza with wraps. Then wraps to whatever. And ditch beer for some sparkling water with lemon.

My gym is just too crowded. I get there when it opens and I still can't get bench press done if I want to do squats first. I don't want to work in with two other guys every time.

I want to make this thread to address some problems i believe exist with bodybuilding and other factors with it. Now i am not a scientist but i believe my claims are reasonable to accept.

1. Stress
Bodybuilding programs 3days-5days a week 24/7 are stressful on the body, causing you to live less, why would you live less? Because you are 24/7 putting maximum stress on your body i.e going to the gym 3-5days a week. Your body is forced to create more muscle which means your breaths must be deeper and longer and your heart must pump blood faster. Does this make you more resistant to illness short term? Yes. But in the long term you forfeit a percentage of your life expectancy for a more powerful body now. Bodybuilding is also a powerful contributor to male baldness, males suffer from baldness because they are more stressed out, lifting only makes this worse.

2. Protein costs
Eating 100g+ of protein a day is expensive and costly, and you cant keep it up forever. The tip of the iceberg in the bodybuilding community is full of people who purchase costly designer brand protein powders and exotic compounds to enhance their performance, as the years or months go by they will probably drop these and switch to eating mostly chicken breast every single day, at some point you have to realize your paying a premium for muscles you rarely use outside the gym and again, are cutting time off the clock you have on this earth.

Femanon here, recently started this routine but there is no equipment in my gym for me to do back extensions. What would be the best substitute exercise?

Do them hanging your torso off a regular bench with your feet anchored.

You can anchor them on another bench, a rack, have a partner hold your feet or whatever.

OP here, any other accessory exercises I should be adding or would this be sufficient? Its basically SL 5x5 otherwise. Pic related is me currently

So I've a friend who really wants to become quarter back for his school's football team this upcoming year. He's come to me to help him out.

The only issue is that he hasn't trained all summer and now has approximately two weeks to train himself to get better at throwing the ball.

I'm asking for your guy's help, what can he do in two weeks? I know it's a REALLY short time frame but starting now is better than not doing anything.

I don't really know a lot about football, but I take it you need a lot of leg strength, so squats, deadlifts, calf raises, and jumping stuff.
Also cardio seems pretty important, so do clapping push-ups and sprints

Most of these guys would be awful at football especially linebacker. Maybe some of them could play center or a fat ass position like that. Most are way to stiff/slow to be good at sports though

To be fair I got fat on homecooked food too and I can't honestly say it was all the fucking rice. I love rice. I would easily eat 800 calories of it per plate, lunch and dinner, sometimes get seconds

no, if you can fit them into your tdee and macros, good. but, just stay away from it. if you can fit it in all the way at the end of the day, sure. but never drink anything besides water until youre sure you can spare it. also, switch to diet drinks. the whole aspartame scare has only been proven untrue so far, so until you have a reason not to, go for it. but, always keep a bottle of chilled water with you at all times. most of the time, youll drink sugary drinks instead of water because youre thirsty.
