Why the fuck would I use my lower back for squats when my hamstrings, ass, quads and abs are bigger and stronger? You are not doing the exercise correctly.

OP - front squats and core strengthening. George Lehman shows some good ab exercises when he was with Mark Bell.

This is a serious question - have you ever squatted or deadlifted in your life without rounding your back? Using your lower back (as in the area above your ass) to move heavy weight is recklessly stupid.

You stabilise yourself with your abs when doing those lifts.

balancing with your lower back is squatting 101 and a sign of proper form. that's why it's mentioned in every tutorial like the guy linked above
