Hey /fit/ 5,7 115 dyel skelly here, i need help on a routine for my upper body because i really need to start but i only have dumbells and bench. Also some bulking tips would also help. Lastly how long does it take to achieve a natty physique?
Did you start by reading the sticky?
> Get a gym membership
> High calorie shakes helped me at the start
> 2 years at your height

I dont currently have the money for a gym membership though currently "neet" mode and i would like to get into bodybuilding. Plus I am at the moment
>>41318195
Get a job first, you will never become a bodybuilder without an income.
Hey /fit/, so I've gotten pretty good at handstands over the past year, and I can finally hold one for ~15s pretty regularly (probably could've learned faster but I wasn't practicing enough). I'm continuing working on strength/balance, and I expect to be able to hold one for a minute within a few months. However, I also want to be able to do handstand pushups by the end of the year, even if they're not full ROM.
Do I need to be able to do full body-weight OHP before I attempt this (minus some lower-arm weight or whatever)? Im 6'0" 175#, planning on somewhere between 180-185# by the end of the year, and my 5rep OHP weight is ~105# right now. Obviously I won't be doing 180# OHP by the end of the year, but can I still expect to do handstand pushups?
bumping with my waifu, haven't seen a /bwg/ to ask this in
No. handstand pushups are a partial lift.
Set pins around forehead level and get good at those, no need to do full range.
>>41318484
Thx anon, I figured it couldn't be equivalent to BW OHP but wanted to double check.
What do you mean by setting pins though?
girl here, how do I into Kloss mode?

Drinking is fun, and I can generally avoid a hangover. But I'll be honest, I'm pretty sure I have depression, and while I don't get hungover, I get super down in the next couple days that follow a night of drinking.
Is it even worth it?
>>41317963
thats why I stopped using all mind altering substances except caffeine.
It is much better without them, after I got used to it.
I too have eventually came to dislike the hangover more than I like getting drunk.
A hangover can make you feel off for a day or two, very subtle lingering effects once the real hangover is through.
Sometimes I do get frustrated enough to drink though, I wait until I'm particularly angry or frustrated to drink.
>>41317963
Whenever I drink I don't wanna do anything the next day, and I end up skipping a workout because I'm a bitch like that
So I just watched Zyzz's Legacy for the very first time.
This is your """""King"""""?
He is behaving very childish and is talking like a mong. Why again are you praising him so much?
>>41317700
>t. Someone who will never make it.

How many years of lifting is necessary to get this body natty?
A couple months with okay genetics and eating alright and good programming.
The chest hair makes his pecs look bigger because of accentuation
>>41317663
>A couple months
More like 1.5 months

Work a labor type job.
>>41317573
Accept it and just roid and make more gains I did natty while sitting on my ass.

My problem has always been slaying puss when single, never had an issue getting a girlfriend though.
anyone /under50kg/ here?
am ~165 cm, 47 kg. I know that im progressing quite good with gaining, but I still don't feel very well, I am trying so hard to it a couble of hundred calories in my diet. I use high cals shakes and stuff, but I still have to eat junk to gain the necessary cals, is it ok/healthy?
>F5 F5 F5
>still no responds
>>41317510
just give up and become a trap, I know that's what I would do if I was 165cm
>>41317510
Jesus, I thought I was a skelly, and I just checked and I'm 63 kg.
Eating junk is probably fine if you're that skinny.
What does /fit/ think of lunges? Useful exercise? I heard it's good for posture.
And what's the best way to add weight? Dumbbells or barbell? Is there anything important to consider for form?
use barbell
easiest way to do small increases, like with squats
lunges are great
consider doing them along with squats once you've maxed our your initial gains
they really hit the glutes
I think squats are better, so I'd consider lunges a slightly more advanced exercise
>>41317511
Thanks, though I was told lunges are better than squats especially at the start in order to fix posture, which is my main goal. Doing 5x5 atm and considering adding lunges after squats, though only doing squats on workout A (and running on workout B instead, also good for posture).
I'd do lunges if they weren't so effeminate.
What is /fit/s opinion on healthcare? As I see it, there are 4 scenarios involving fat people and healthcare:
>Universal Healthcare:
>The entire society carries the burden of those who are irresponsible, but said burden is rather minute, since the fat people also have to pay in.
>Free Market System A, no preexisting conditions protection, but treatment at ERs, for those who cant afford it.
>Most fat people are also poor, so they wont be able to foot the 50k bill and it will be transferred to the next paying customer
>Free Market System B, no preexisting conditions protection, no ER treatment for the unisured.
>People dying on the streets, because they cant get treatment.
>Massive spike in crime
>Illegal treatment centers
>etc.
So what is the solution?
National healthcare with cost incentives for preventative-based care and education.
Recycle the FDA into a worthwhile organization.
>>41317474
Sounds reasonable, i thought the same.
Aren't /fit/izens known to have somewhat controversial opinions on this topic, as seen on places like pol?
>>41317426
>implying people who don't take care of themselves are more costly than those who do
M8, the most expensive patients are the ones who are healthy enough to live to old age, wherein they have a plethora of health problems
Hey guys, please don't go too hard on me, I'm new here. Here is the situation: I'm 19, I'm not fat but neither am I buffed. In 2 months I'm going to the south of Europe where I'll most likely be forced to take my shirt off due to swimming and heat. Attached is a picture of my current physique. I have 2 months to break myself and get a buffed-ish body. I am mainly (read: Only) targeting my upper body (Biceps, Shoulders, and Stomach).
Give me a 2-month hell workout plan to follow to get buffed, also tips on what to avoid eating would be nice, the internet gives very contradicting advice. WARNING: I can't go to the gym because of low self-esteem, working out at home is the only option. I also do not have any weights.
This is my back, the weird blob on my shoulders is my scapula that is a bit too extended due to weird positioning and angle.
>2 months
>no weights
>refuses to go to the gym
do the reddit /r/bodyweight
routine and eat a huge amount of food
Get the "100% army fit" app. Do that stuff. Or do the reddit bodyweight routine. But STICC to a program. Consistency is key (and overload but youll get that with the app and if you read the reddit)
What can I do instead of eating, lads?
>>41317385
Have you tried not eating?
>>41317399
I mean what can I do that will take my mind off of food.
Black coffee and cigarettes?
>>41317417
water, just have a big ol jug/cup/glass whatever right by you
Is "feeling exhausted" a good excuse for not working out?
>>41317342
If you've been working out for the past few days then sure. If you're a fat fuck then you're not tired you're just a fat piece of shit
>>41317342
do you wan't the long answer, or the short answer?
>>41317374
give me the answer i want to hear
How good is lifting for mental fitness? I.e does it help fight depression and thoughts of suicide, and promote fluid learning?
>>41317261
yes you fucking retard Jesus christ STOP MAKING SHITTY THREADS BUNCH OF FUCKING NEWFAG CUNTS kill YOURSELF sage
>>41317261
It's basically like getting laid on a regular basis
You stress levels significantly drop afterwards, you just feel better, esp if u follow it up by a cold ass shower.
It helps with regulating your cortisol, increases testosterone, that alone is enough to make u feel invincible.
>>41317261
Lifting does not cure autism if that's what you mean
Take care of your back.
