What shoes do you wear for lifting?
I've been wearing some very flimsy slip-ons and I feel like they're starting to annoy me in my squat. Are all-star the best shoe for squat/deadlift? I don't want to spend $40+ and I hate having a raised heel.

What are the REAL standards for weighted chinups? Last time at the gym i tried them with 1pl8 at 150 lbs bodyweight and i managed to do only 5 reps and it was really hard. I never saw anyone at my gym doing weighted chinups or pullups.

My stats for "weighted calisthenic" movements are

I'm really happy about dips mainly, because I stopped lifting for over a year because of shoulder injury and pain. My lats are piss weak tho, and I think I have problems activating them in pullups.

Hey /fit/, would you say it's possible to look fit, not exactly huge or very muscular, on home exercises alone? For example, this image is my body goal: can any average person achieve this look without going to the gym?
I'm just shy as hell so I have a hard time going to the gym (it's a small town and the gym is also a small place with machines and weights and stuff) and I tried going a couple times but I feel awkward as fuck and I don't even really know what I'm doing. So I was wondering if home training could also be an option since I don't want to get a lot of mass, just gain some muscle and get in shape.
Anyway, gym or no gym, what kind of exercises would you recommend? The Strating Strenght thing on the sticky?

i found i have high blood pressure. im only around 10% body fat, don't smoke, don't drink, exercise every day, both heavy weights and low intensity cardio, diet is quiet healthy almost no processed foods

Caffeine for sure will spike your BP, how is your sodium intake? Are you salting your food heavily? What is your blood pressure exactly?
Never salt my food, but I do eat out a bit so I am sure they put salt in it. I drink a lot of tea throughout the day. I am a writer and have constant deadlines, so I am under stress probably 10 months a year. Not really avoidable.
Trying to drink more water I think I am pretty healthy otherwise.

Okay so first pic was taken around Easter this year. 102kg and about 20 something % BF. Cut to 87kg 13% BF in August. Wanted to go as low as sub 10% BF and then start a slow bulk through winter. Is this viable or should I bulk straight away ? Did some FBW with dumbells for a couple of months with good diet. Recently started 5x5. By starting I mean I only did 1 week so far. Some of exercises were limited by the weight of dumbells (10.5kg each) and besides that I wanted to take it slow to make sure I won't kill myself. Bought myself a bar and 100kg of weights. DL is higher than the rest because I realised I can easily lift 50kg bags of wheat in my barn. Lastly I know I look like total shit but I'm working to change that. Wanted to look like a normal human being just once in my life and that's why I started all that.

SQ: 18.5 kg
DL: 60 kg
BP: 22.5 kg
