How often do you guys train your abs ? Been thinking about starting a daily core routine. Are those 7min abs workouts a meme or will a daily workout give me better abs ?

Look at what you typically eat in a day, plug it into a tracker like MFP, see where you need to go(ie. decrease sugar/salt, increase protein/fat are common issues), and figure out what kind of foods you like that will be able to make up the difference. Make some more complicated foods on the weekend and easier foods as you go along.

Okay, I got a problem /fit/. I need a good starter workout for building muscle, that I can do at planet fitness. This is the only option for me currently. I was going to do ICF but im not going to be able to do this at planet fitness due to no squat or bench racks.

Anyone have any ideas? It's going to have to be primarily machine based now.

So entertain me this thought, how exactly is lifting more useful than practicing a martial art for years when it comes to building up your body?

I mean, if you lift for a while and stop all you worked hard for will go away within weeks while the body you gained from honing your body into a killing machine will last you a lot longer than when you do stop training. So then how the fuck do people consider gaining shitty muscle mass from lifting is better?

Besides, the approach itself towards building your body differs in both cases, when practicing martial arts you're doing it to learn how to defend yourself, how to carry out yourself and be strong, whilst body building is something shitters do to show off and pick up girls with, it's not true strength.

You should vary it so you don't drive yourself nuts and break your diet because you can't stand eating the same food every day

Switch up chicken breast for chicken thighs, steak, pork chops, fish, etc. and you won't want to kill yourself
