Why do people say to stop SS after 1 cycle?

Rip says any 18-40 year old male should be able to hit a 400 squat and 500 deadlift on it, and that you can keep on running SS until you hit it.

That said, is there any reason to switch off onto a intermediate routine unless I can squat 400 and deadlift 500?

Rip says a lot of shit that has very little relation to the reality of most trainees (also, Rips own guys generally don't hit those numbers on SS anyway). The question is not 'can you hit a 400 squat on SS?' but 'is chasing a 400 squat with SS an effective means of reaching my goals?' and the answer frequently is no.

I've been abstaining for 12 days and overall I feel better, more energetic, feel less hyper, concentrate better and yes, I do feel hornier but I just use the sexual energy on other things.

Try taking cold showers every daywith nofap and do light cardio or some other kind of work to use excess energy. You will feel content and happier with yourself in general.

Ask yourself what you want to do actually want to do, if you're just getting into fitness because you want people to stop looking down on you, you're not going to make it. So many people burn out by trying to do everything at once, but it's really about making small changes to your lifestyle that make you all around healthier.

#1 is learning how to control your diet.
NO SODA, if you drink soda you've failed. Start choosing healthier snack, lowering portion sizes when you eat, choosing healthier options. These changes are what's going to make a noticeable long term difference.

For your lifts, focus on compound lifts. Minimum 3 times a week. Don't get discouraged when you have an off week.

The rest is up to you

Breakfast (Egg Sammich) = 292cal
Multigrain Sammich Thins = 100c
2 Boiled Eggs = 140c
2% cheese slice = 45c
1 cup Spinach = 7c

Lunch = (random) 700cal avg
Friends and/or wife allowed to fuck up my cut. Nothing over 800 cal which means decent sized portion of just about anything that isn't "fast food". If don't eat out have plain pasta w/spinach or 2 eggs.

Dinner = (Burger) 392cal
Sammich thins = 100c
Frzn Beef Patty = 240c
2% cheese slice = 45c
Cup Spinnachio = 7c

You can do it man. Had a get together at a friends house on the 15th and got mired for the weight loss. I think of that every time I pass by a vending machine at my college.

the only hard part is you have to do it every day and throw up the first time.

Livestrong says the average db curl for men is 40lbs, and 20lbs for women.

I think this is absolute horseshit. At my college rec centre, the vast majority of people curl under 40lbs. Average strength dudes lift 20-25 lbs, people with some bicep definition lift 30-35lbs, and only the super jacked (by my standards and by IRL everyday standards, at least) can curl 40+. It's impossible that the "average" i.e. the regular joes you see walking down the street can curl 40lbs.

Also, I've never seen any woman ever curl anything close to 20lbs. On the rare occasion that they're doings some strength training, they're curling 10lbs at best.

Help /fit/ I did max load squats today (only lmao2pl8), and want to know if I'm ok to do heavy deads (around 3pl8) tomorrow morning? About a day in between? I have a public holiday and a festival which are fucking up my workout schedule but I figure they use slightly different muscles that it should be ok for muscle growth?
