I either wake up extremely dehydrated and thirsty or needing to pee to the point it hurts, sometimes it's even both.

What the fuck is a good water routine to not wake up in such a shitty way every fucking morning. I go through around 3L of water a day.

Hey /fit/ I started my cut yesterday morning, doing IF at 1,650 calories. So weighed myself today expecting to see a solid 1/4 pound - 1/2 pound drop, but I've actually put on weight. Any suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong? I tracked my calories so I definitely ate 1,650 calories and my TDEE is approximately 2350 so I should be losing weight.

What are the chances of me losing 20 - 35 pounds within 2 months by doing cardio and not eating? I'm fed up with looking like shit.

I was friends with a girl and we spent lots of time together, but she has a drinking problem and I wasn't sure to commit. Then I had family problems and kind of shut down but her and i have a long history, i decided to say "fuck it" and make it formal with her. But she told me she was seeing some other guy for two weeks already. I asked her why and she said because I was very quiet when I had my family problems. I went o the gym today, aqnd my lifts were allover the place, some good, some bad...I spent two hours there and at one point just fell on the floor fighting back tears. Her friend said she and I should talk, that a lack of communication both ways hurt us, but I don't know. Should I talk to her? Is there a point? Is asking her to choose me over him stupid, will she just resent me down the line or use it against me even if she says yes? How do I work out like this>? I just want to drink and sleep...

I'm wanting to get into powerlifting. All of these routines with spreadsheets are confusing the shit out of me.

I'm pretty weak for my size, but I've been lifting for about 2 years. I'm looking for a simple beginners routine that will let me into the doors of powerlifting.

I've downloaded 28programs but it's confusing the shit out of me. Can someone recommend a routine and simplify the shit out of it? Is starting strength good?

just get on SS or SL
focus on learning the big lifts

in the meantime, do some lurking
and then you can jump on a proper PL routine when you have more knowledge

When I go out in public, at least 80 percent of people have ugly fucking faces and look like subhumans with a skinnyfat or fat body. Yet I see some ugly motherfuckers with girlfriends. It's kinda high in sodium and the only carbs in it are sugar but if you use it in small quantities, I don't see a problem with it. There are a couple of rumors and reported health benefits of eating spicy food regularly, so it can't be that bad.

My whole life I've always carried extra weight. I was an ignorant kid and I ate whatever I wanted. I had no self control and I really didn't care. 3 years ago I was peaking my heaviest (almost 300 pounds). I've always wanted to have a physique I could be proud of but never did anything about it until I seen the scale peak that high. I was absolutely disgusted on how I could let myself get to that point so I decided enough is enough. 3 years is a loooong time to lose that much weight and again I was completely ignorant to anything fitness related so it was a long process of trial and error and still I struggle today to get rid of what's left of the weight I carried.
Now, getting back on track here, I decided I'd bulk throughout the winter and I feel like I've made some personal progress but now that spring is right around the corner I want to try and lose this fat once and for all. I stopped my bulking cycle about 2 weeks ago, I've lost 6 pounds since then by simply cutting my calories to 2000-2200 a day, eating 20%c 30%f 50%p. Carbs consumed only being brown rich, vegetables, sweet potatoes, etc. (Did no cardio whatsoever just lifted weights). You would think losing 3lbs a week is fantastic but I've lost a lot of strength the past couple weeks and I haven't noticed much fat loss at all! The troublesome areas (breasts, stomach, hips) always seem to carry weight and I'm so tired of it. I'm in desperate need of advice, of course I have thought of other methods but I'm looking for some feedback and even motivation. I'm thinking I should just give up and continue to put on muscle but I'd really like to be able to look in that mirror and have confidence for once in my life. I highly encourage fat shaming in this thread, I need that motivation to finally get rid of this burden I carried my whole life. Feel free to share your stories and fill me in on anything I'm missing here.

what type weightlifting program are you on? if you're doing a strength training/heavy weight low reps routine stop it. I don't think 5x5 type programs are the way to go during a cut. I don't even think they're the way to go on a bulk if your main goal is to change body composition. If thats what you're doing I would recommend you switch to something that involves light weight, high reps, high intensity.

Congrats on the weight loss, you still have a ways to go if your goal is to look good. If you want to lean out a bit go for it, most will probably tell you not to because you don't have much muscle mass but you're gonna have to lose it sooner or later.
