/an/ fucking help me. I'm taking care of my sister's 5-6 month old puppy and my current dog bit his ear and I'm fucking panicking. I couldn't get many photos cause I can't bear to look at it but I /think/ it might be slightly pierced at the edge and some fur in the ear came off.
I know I fucked up please don't remind me I think I'm having a panic attack
I'll post another pic in the comments but I think it makes it look worse than it does

Didn't find the cat general so don't know if this need a thread but
i would like to know how can you see how big a kitten is going to be.

Look at the father. Look at the mother. Estimate that it'll be around that big and hope that it doesn't take after an unknown grandparent that is a completely different size.

If you can't identify the father (and you probably won't be able to), then just look at the mother and hope a bit harder.

If you don't know the mother either then it's just completely about hoping for the best.

My dog is very old and now he has this enormous red lump on his butt.

He's grown a lot of lumps over his body through the last few years, and he's had this one on his butt for at least two years now, but it used to be much smaller. It has grown a lot recently. He doesn't seem to mind it, and, although he licks it a little sometimes, he doesn't seem to feel any pain: he can sit, he doesn't seem to be having any trouble defecating and so on.

Do you now what the name of this thing is?

I live in a trashy third-world city and the vet here isn't of any help. He just say it's age-related and that's it.

Hello anons, I need some advice about my 6 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (pic related). She has recently been taking things off of the coffee table, usually to play with or redistribute throughout the living room. How do I keep her from contining this behaviour? Any and all advice is much appreciated. Thanks :)

>>
Nice looking dog.

What kind of training have you done with her so far?
>>
She is a dumb baby at the moment. Do your best to interrupt the undesired behavior, but don't expect miracles. Also, look at finding an obedience class for you and her as well... unfortunately she is a bit older for puppy classes. Look for a trianer that FOCUSES on positive reinforcement (not necessarily only teaches it though). You'll need to be super consistent with her as she grows, as many dogs just don't get out of their dumb until they fully become an adult.

Ok guys I need some assistance

My dog caught a cold a few days ago, but 2 days later his nose strols got inflamated and he had difficulty to breath. But then he started to have difficulty to stand up, and now he doesn't move

He still eats, and ocassionaly barks but he doesnt move and has contractions when he breaths

Is it too late?

>nose strols
yeah i heard those were fatal.

seriously though, eating is a good sign. make sure he drinks water, that is VITAL, try to force it on him, even dripping it on his mouth so he gets the idea. it could be that he is just sick, dogs can get bad viral infections. but, like humans, can only recover easily if they are well hydrated.

is he a small dog? i have had shih tzus and spitz my whole life, and this is pretty common, they are just jind of lazy so if they feel bad, they won't move unless they have to. be on the watch for bloody stools or mucus-y vomit, because those can mean something other than infection, and warrant a vet visit.

i hope he gets better, bro
>>
>>2168900
he hasn't vomited, he can breath now but he has contractions

i'm worried because he cant stand up and wont move, except when he is about to piss himself of barks because of some noise on the street

Hey /an/. I own ducks at my house, 6 to be exact. Two died last night and one is injured. I'm pretty sure a raccoon got into the pen. Does anyone here know any ways i can stop this from happening again, or if i can fix up the injured duck? I promise i'll post pics later, its raining where i am

>>2168734

A raccoon is unlikely; they don't typically take on live prey bigger than a rat or lizard. Bobcat, fox or coyote is more likely, especially if 2 are dead.

Sorry op
>>
>>2168734
where are you from? it was probably a weasel, stoat or whatever equivalent in your area; those little fucks get on killing frenzies when rabid and show no mercy

my grandma for instance had over 100 rabbits and one of them killed them all overnight

get a cat, the smell will drive them off

Hey /an/ me and my friend were driving when we saw this little angle on the side of the road. She was calling for her mother so we stopped and went out to make sure she was okay. She wasn't running but didn't come either, i took her up to look at her and she was so skinny like she hasen't eaten in a long time so we decided to take her with us. (Live on the country so people doesn't really care much for cats, and they often get hit by cars or killed by the "reaper" machines and people leave them to die) i have now bought kitten food. Milk and have the intentions to nurse her back to health! She is very sweet and is starting to like me so she wants to be touched and cuddled by me now( almost) how old do you think she is? She doesn't really drink water, she can eat though but she is sooo small and skinny :( then she have ear mides and maybe something with her tummy, but i honestly don't know, i am not sure she can shit and pee by herself. At least she haven't done that so far

If she cannot use the potty on her own, she is probably less than 6 weeks.

Take her to the vet when you can. They will be able to accurately age her and give you advice on the care she will need at that age. They will also be able to give you medicine for the ear mites and possibly intestinal parasites (good chance she has them). Lastly, give her a nice, medicated flea bath and ask the vet about flea preventatives. She might have brought some in.
