I live at an apartment complex and there's cat meowing outside my door. What should I do?
I don't want to lead him on and think he is welcome-as I have 2 cats and cant guarantee he is healthy. They are both neutered so it's not like theyre attracting him though they do meow back. He seems friendly though, and I think may be blind (have seen him out and about in the neighborhood).
check it with a vet and if he is healthy put it in adoption somewhere and if not healthy then make it healthy.
Eat the cat

Kill the cat
Which kind of plants are these???
>>2169008
A type of Aglaonema maybe?
>>2169006
They remind of Mexican plants growing up. The first looks like acuyo, possibly a variant? The leafs aren't usually shiny. The second one looks like "cola de gato", which translates to cat tails, wew that brings so many memories.
Could these hypothetical creatures be created?

I once heard of the soviets breeding chimps with Russian peasant woman for a super soldier program. These hybrids were said to be big and hairy, could not speak, but understood language. They were also impotent, much like mules. All test subjects were said to be terminated.

I heard this too. Shit is a bit disturbing really.
I'm going to be leaving for about a week. Is there any benefit to buying an automatic feeder (the gravity fed type, not the electronic ones) for my cats instead of just using a really big bowl?
Bump?
>>2168918
I bought one for my cat when I had to start leaving her for 1 or more weeks at a time thanks to work. I had a friend come over every few days to check on her and didn't get any issues.
I am worried that if had had just done a big bowl or gravity feeder she'd have either vomited after binging or spread kibbles all over the room and bring in ants, rats etc.
However that feeder broke less than a year later and now I just use one/multiple bowls. If you're talking about multiple days rather than weeks consider multiple bowls (one set out, one from the refrigerator, one from the freezer) in steel containers sitting on ice packs which will deter them well enough to space out the meals.

I've got a rotating electric feeder that does 6 dishes. My cat tends to binge so this helps a lot.
My cat loves to beg for feed earlier than the scheduled feeding time. So using the feeder in general and getting him out of viewing me as the food giver has been wonderful. Totally worth not being woken up for food.
Today I finally got the mouse in my house after almost a month of it not getting caught in any traps or eating the poison... and he died a warriors death as far as I'm concerned.
I had set up two classic snap traps and between them a new weird ass spin trap. So the mouse missed the first trap and went into and out the spin trap tunnel (pic included, but seriously who fucking designs a way out for fucks sake?).
Que it activating the third trap and getting its paws snapped, then backing into the first and getting the same on its ass end...
Then the second trap activated and slammed shut. Little bastard was sliced into 3 parts.. front half still silently screaming, until I pulled out a hammer and bonked it to valhalla. Im making a little viking canoe for it tomorrow and sending it down river. I'm going to miss our glorious game of cat and mouse.... unless it left babies then fuck the little bastard and his spawn!
Make sure to take pics and keep us updated.
Godspeed, Rasputin the mouse
the pic's not that clear, but maybe the way out is a second entrypoint, so mice can enter from both sides?

No. 3 has hit the image limit, and this whole deal is basically nothing but images, so here we go.

So, /an/, I live in rural Texas on a road where people often drop off dogs, and strays typically wander here as well. I found one the other day with a collar and no tags, hungry and scared in the stalls we no longer use. After feeding her and giving her a bit of water like we always do, I noticed a couple of spots similar to pic related.
What are these? Should I take her to the vet for them? She also has a weird spot near the base of her tail that she seems to lick much like these.
Cute pic of doggo.
like this?
>>2172141
It looks similar, but my pic seems bigger and more... wet.
Found in the Netherlands. Who knows what this is? An European pine marten or a Beech marten?
>it's storming like hell outside
>5AM hits
>this bug decides to get in a plastic bag and make a fuck loads of noise
what the hell is it because after i killed it like seven more just showed up
if you need a better pic let me know
It's a dervish fela. They show up in greater numbers for every one you kill.

You have termites bro

Sever it's head and leave it there as an example to others.
so i read these articles online from these 'experts' that say hugging you dog is 'bad' and 'damaging' and 'abusive'
If i don't give my dog cuddles she comes and whimpers and grunts at my feet/shoulders until I embrace her. Am i really harming her by giving her affection?
she & i live alone.
sounds made up
hug your dog, anon
It really varies with the dog. Some aren't comfortable, others are fine. If they don't like it don't do it because it stresses them out.

she seems to love my hugs!
she wags her stub like crazy whenever i embrace her!!! i don't understand! these people are famous online and (supposedly) to be taken seriously.

I'm just looking for current prices for a betta, there is a guy selling them at this night market here in Taiwan. I dont want to get ripped off by some insane price. He sells them in a shitty cup, so I know I need to get a bigger fish bowl, etc.
$5 is max price right? Or higher?
I don't think many people here know the price of a betta in a night market in Taiwan.
people pay tons of money for fancy bettas, though. like hundreds of dollars, at least.
>>2171823
Naaa,, I know that.. just looking to compare again a price from any country that isn't an Island... lol.
>>2171828
well, they're like 5-8 dollars here at most pet stores. that's for your average, shitty betta though.
Looks like a tree
Hi /an/. I'm going to have to put doggo in the eternal sleep via a veto, as he have a lot of problems, is old and such next week.
What fun things can I do with him in the meantime ? Please keep in mine that he is 16 yo, have difficulties to walk on long distance et cetera. Thanks.
give him a smorgasbord of food he loves but can't have normally because it's bad for him
sorry about your dog, anon
Just do what he loves to do, but way more of it.
Goodnight sweet pupper
he looks similar to my old doggo.
