Reptile is paraphyletic. Avians really deserve distinction from the rest of the scalies.

no, instead the term 'reptile' should be discarded.

I've always wanted to keep a herd of Elk or other deer, but I'm poor as shit and see no way to ever have enough money to do that on my own private land. Give me ideas for how I can make this dream come true.

And before the edgequeers get started, no, I don't care that you don't like deer. >>>/b/

Though this is probably the correct answer, I would like suggestions.

Marry someone who keeps a herd of elk or other deer.

Hey /an/,

I'll admit it now: never done this before. Picked up a stray kitten who was being harrassed by a local doggo, he doesn't meow and only growls at my other cats meaning it's probably not used to being around humans. He has a ton of fleas, which I've mostly picked off. We don't have access to any raw or diced meats in the house and our wet and dry cat food is for our 2 - 3 year-old cats. It's not exactly a newborn, but he's visibly younger than they are, so I think I'd rather ask you guys what's the best or commonly recommended procedure for this kind of thing?

Pic related, it's the kitten

Hey /an/aerobic /an/teaters, we had some field mice in the house and now we don't. One I couldn't extricate from the trap so I let someone else handle it (who probably just threw it in the trash), the other one I was able to remove, but there was a lot of shaking involved and it's still got glue on it so maybe it won't live. Anyway as I was carrying the second one out it... did something, and I ended up a cut on my thumb. I didn't see it bleeding and I put peroxide on it.
So my question is: How long before I'm dead of mouse AIDS and they have to clean the rabies foam off my corpse?

Also I'm having pain in that hand/wrist/arm intermittently and I don't know if it's related or not, or if I'm maybe even imagining it because I'm worried.
>>
>>2170361
anything from a few days to over a year.
>>
I mean if it makes you feel better mice basically never carry rabies.

Could be other disease shit though, but at least it isn't rabies.

Am I correct in Identifying these as conocybe kuehrneriana?

I'm guessing the ones that turned black are a result of being soaking wet from all the rain we've had and being buried under a pile of trimmed branches from a recently felled tree.

I'm so sick of Pine forests. Doesn't answer your question but it's at least slightly related.
I'm just so sick of cleaning up after pine needles and pine pollen. At least with normal ass trees you rake them up once a goddamn year but pine needles never stop.

I'm going on a vacation for a week which means leaving my cat alone. I've got someone who can feed her every day but I'm not sure if I should keep her inside or outside.
During the summer time she's outside about half the time and spend most nights inside.
I want to keep her inside while I'm away but she's got urinary tract problems so if she never goes outside she's gonna piss all over the house.
If I keep her outside for the entire week and my buddy comes to give her food at my back door every day, is there a chance she's gonna run away and not come back or something? I'm really worried.

cover everything in plastic and keep her inside.
>>
>>2170184
If it's a cat that wants to live, it will run away. If it's badly injured, too emaciated to move, or has a neurological issue, it won't be able to run away. But to preserve it's own well being, it will most definitely run away and maybe find new owners to feed him.

Put cat in furnace

Need some help real quick.

I bought some sardines to give to my cats and they have all these tiny bones in them like in the picture. Is it okay if they eat that? They're really soft but it doesn't look very safe so I don't think I should feed them that. They already mixed with the meat so I can't take them out.

Come on m8, they'll be fine. Cats catch and eat whole fish all the time, if they get a chance.
>>
yes, it's fine

humans can eat those bones too
>>
Are you sure.
Google said it was bad to give them any kind of bones so I wasn't sure. And it really has a lot of them in it.

Yeah she's been hiding under a chair i have in my room that is piled with clothes and whenever i try to pick her up or i poke her she hisses at me is she going into labor? I noticed she is chubby for a few months but I thought it was due to her eating alot. Help?

Why wasn't she fixed??
>>
>>2170051
Didn't cross my mind to get her fixed she's an indoor cat who used to be a stray so I thought she put on all that weight because she wasn't eating enough.
>>
>>2170057
One, that's stupid. They can die from a multitude of health issues from not being spayed. Too, if she's indoor then how did she get pregnant. You can't have a pet if you are going to be this stupid and immature. When your cat pit on a huge amount of weight you should have taken her to the vet like a normal person, but you didn't. You shouldn't have pets. You are neglectful.

A. At least once a week.
B. However long she's comfortable.
C. At least once daily. (I'd recommend a dispenser like the picture here.)

>>2170001
Don't listen to this guy. Your budgie should always have access to clean water.
>>
A: twice a year
B: whatever you want. i leave the cage open and they come and go as they like
C: give them 2 water and 2 food dishes and change it out once a week

I recently took in a feral kitten. It's doing really well but my brother is extremely allergic to cats. And this little guy loves to follow me around and jump on the furniture and beds. And so far he literally gives no shits if I throw him across the room, he will jump on the bed immediately and repeatedly. So my question, is there any way to reduce the amount of allergens an animal drops or is there a way to put something on a piece of furniture that will deter a cat from getting on it without bothering a human? I want him to be indoor as much as possible but I also want him to stay on the goddam floor and don't want my brother to be suffocating all the time.

/an/ is a slow board. It will sometimes take hours to get replies.

As for keeping him off in a way that won't inconvenience you, I got nothing. Can your brother take some allergy meds?
>>

>I brought in an animal and potentially exposed my pets and family to disease. Is there a way to help with allergies?
No, retard. There's nothing you can do besides giving the cat away or dispatching and disposing of it like you should've done when you found it.
You could also just be a selfish fuck and keep it anyway at the expense of your brothers quality of life.
