A few years ago as I was scuba diving around 30m into the sea, I saw a giant red (octopus?) floating about gracefully in a mini 5m trench.

It was in the Aegean sea and was on the coast of the island of Euboea.

Any ideas what it could've been? I could've sworn it was an octopus - a lot of weird shit has appeared in the Aegean lately, like Atlantic Great Whites on the coast of Croatia.

It was dark, crimson red, and around twice the size of a soccer ball. Its shape and structure resembled a head and non-visible tentacles sheltered by some sort of cloak.

The coast I scuba dive in is only a kilometer or two from an area 2.5m deep (a significant deep spot in the Aegean), so maybe it'd seem logical that this type of sea life is coming up...

Any ideas?

Some type of blanket octopus? Only one I know of with a "cloak"

But it was crimson red? I've never seen an octopus with that colour in the Aegean in my entire life.

It is told that Muhammad awoke one day to the sounds of the Adhan, the Muslim daily call to prayer. Preparing to attend, he began to dress himself; however, he soon discovered his cat Muezza sleeping on the sleeve of his prayer robe. Rather than wake her, he used a pair of scissors to cut the sleeve off, leaving the cat undisturbed. On perhaps a separate occasion, upon returning from the mosque, Muhammad received a bow from Muezza. He then smiled and gently stroke his beloved cat three times, promising her a special place in heaven and bestowing the ability for cats to land on all fours.

Gives you a new respect for Islam, doesn't it?

This is the most retarded shit I've read in a while.

All this does is remind me of how homosexuality was widely accepted and even exemplified in Chinese history until the westernization of the country ruined it.

In fact, many gay men in China are referred to as "Cut Sleeve Boys" because an ancient Chinese emperor was gay as fuck, and one day when we woke up after plowing his lovers ass he saw him sleeping on the sleeve of his robe. Instead of pulling the robe out from under him and waking him, he cut the sleeve off of his robe.

Don't believe me, google it.

Also, nothing will ever erase the absolute sickening barbaric sheer ignorance that is Sharia Law.
>>
Not really. To my understanding, many Muslims still hate cats and consider them unclean outside of the consideration of that one story.

I got pet mice today, and I think I fucked up.

>be me

>barely ever owned pets, except for dogs

>finally decide i want mice

>after 5 months of waiting, get two mice

>funky, a black-spotted, and fresh, a tan

>very sweet animals

>try not to mess with them

>unfortunately, the cage i put them in was fucked up so i had to rearrange it

>put lid on wrong when i finish

>mouse escapes

>freak out, put mouse inside

>mouse struggles, but does not bite

>all is fine

>suddenly.jpeg

>another mouse gets out, and i find out lid is wrong

>attempt to put mouse back in cage

>parent watching keeps screaming and telling me to put it back in

>makes me and mouse stressed

>try to hold mouse, it bites me

>not really heartbroken, just put it back in

i'm now worrying if i've lost their trust, all the events just happened today

mice owners, if you get off to a bad start, will mice no longer trust you?

Mice are not too smart, they will get over it.
>>
>>2168941
this.
Just make sure you get them used to your hands and stuff. you won't be able to interact with them properly if they're not used to it.
>>
They're just stressed out because it's a new environment for them. They will come around pretty quickly though. Just give them treats, handle them often, and try hand feeding them from time to time and you should be all good dude.

How do I kill/keep flies and mosquitos off my porch? I take care of 3 feral cats and the food I put out for them attracts flies, which get into my house whenever I open the door and I don't want them getting any diseases from mosquitos. I need something I can use outside and is safe for cats

Also don't tell me to kill or get rid of them. They're all fixed and friendly but I can't bring them inside since my pet cat grew up as an only cat and last time he shared a house with another animal he got a bleeding stomach ulcer from the stress. I don't expect them to live more than a few years anyways

I can't bear to put them down, and I can't bring them inside like I just explained. They're all fixed so it's not like they can reproduce

Anyways, answer the question. I'm sick of these bugs on my porch
>>
>>2168857
Several different kinds of birds eat flies and mosquitoes, also there are different plants that act as a natural repellent.
>I take care of feral cats
Nevermind. The invasive pets you "take care of" have probably ate all the local birds and destroyed native fauna as well. Enjoy your fucking bugs.

I need an anti-bark shock collar for a ~20 kg dog. The sort that warns it with a beep a couple times before actually zapping the animal. The shocks can be weak, because the dog in question is kind of a chicken shit. Unfortunately also the loudest and most irrreformable one we ever had. It's either the collar or he won't be able to run around the garden.

Any good models you'd recommend?

>>
I have no expierence with bark collars, but I've read that they're not very good to use, among others because the shock collar might register other sounds (maybe a car door slamming or something) and shock the dog without it having barked, confusing the dog.
>>
>>2168721

Honestly, he's the only loud thing in the house. I don't kn ow how fucked up detection would have to be.

looks like an infected cut, if it is tender (hurts) ajd feels like a pimple, try to pop it, but don't force it because if you have to it probably isnt. one of my cats gets similar things from i believe spiders, but those are hard. if it pops, put neosporin on it after you get any pus out. and monitor it and make sure it doesnt swell again

This morning my dog was acting lethargic so I carried him to my car and drove to the vet. They said he had a heart tumor and was bleeding in the heart sac. His name was Oden and he was 9 years old. In the span of 2 hours it went from perfectly fine to putting him to sleep. Love your dog while you can.
