I'm trying to make a bit of mead for fun and personal use(family brews plum brandy for generation, guess it's in the blood).
Got almost all the ingredients needed.
Nice honey, thick glass vessel, way to keep CO2 from pilling up, extra things to give it a nice flavour.
But i don't know what to do about yeast.
All the guides say you should get it from your local brewer, but i don't have that around here, and buying it online means i have to pay for way more than i need+postage.
Was thinking of gathering some of that foam that forms on the top from plum fermentation(apparently it's also used to make nice, fluffy donuts) but i fear contamination and giving the thing a weird taste, or using household baker's yeast, but i don't know if that stuff will survive when alcohol starts forming in decent concentration, or if it will give the brew a bread-y taste

I split a large internet order with three other guys who brew their own like I do, but your access and ability to procure ingredients is going to be specific to where you're located.

Oh cool OP, I made mead with my friends in a dorm room when I was a freshman lol. If I recall, we just bought all purpose/baker's yeast from the grocery store and it worked fine. Look up your local laws on workers rights. There should be signs posted at your work. If not its just a quick search of "workers rights (insert state)".
This will lead to a contact number. Call them and explain your situation. Meaning your check. Don't tell them about ceiling tiles. They dont care and its irrelevant to your situation.
If you have any receipts from work that show you as logged in that would help any "case" you might need to make in the future.
To answer your "check mail week" question. Again look up your local laws. There are laws that dictate how long an employer has to send payment for work. If they go beyond that threshold then they could get fined.

Alright sorry guys, I know you've had a billion of these threads already, I'm a whiny faggot, etc etc. It might take me a minute to get to my question because I suck at explaining
I'm foreveralone or incel or whatever the new meme is. Is it autistic? Let's go with that. I'm too autistic to get a gf. I'm not asking for sympathy, I know it's my fault and I suck or whatever. I could go into how I've improved myself, how many times I've tried (I still try sometimes) and failed, but tl;dr is it's not going to happen. I get that not everyone makes it, and I'm not so autistic that I can't be friends with girls. I rather be friends with a girl than jeopardize that friendship by having them reject me and making things awkward
The problem is that it's starting to hurt. Like actually, physically hurt. It's like this weird aching pain in my chest that I can't describe. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of hobbies and it helps a lot, but sometimes it doesn't even matter. I'll be in the middle of something and I will still feel it out of nowhere. As far as I can tell nobody has any idea, but it's starting to affect me. My muscles become sore from working out more easily, I'm getting random headaches, and I can barely sleep. Trying to sleep is the worst because that's when it really sets in. At least I can kind of distract myself with whatever I'm doing during the day, but there's nowhere to hide from it when I'm just laying there. Is there a name for this? Some kind of way to treat it? I think I'm actually starting to lose my health here

I was going through legal means of suing them but later dropped it because I just wanted to move on. Also, if your friendship is over and they are not only still contacting you but doing so in a manner that is considered harassment then it speaks volumes about their maturity and intelligence.

File a restraining order. "google it". There's nothing about the US legal (or any gvt) system that you can't learn online. You could probably find the forms you need to fill out as well.
Save/print all of your emails/texts/whatever you consider to be harassing material.
