Oh man now my whole familys hearing about my job search thing
yeah so I dont have a job yet but I've been trying but basically now everyones who thinks they know advice is giving me advice like its deja vu to october last year except this time over a job and the advice is the same as usual 'here try this see how that works out' then i try it and nothing of value is accomplished

I'm probably gonna be slow when it comes to doing all their advice things because there is a hell lot of crap i gotta do to get help to get a job

I have an incredibly embarrassing problem. I fart a lot, especially when I get nervous. It's absolutely mortifying and I've become incredibly self-conscious about it. I'm a teacher, too, and I frequently get really gassy when I'm standing up/teaching and the rest of the room is quiet. I know it's gross, and I wish I were making it up, but I'm not.

Can anybody help me deal with this? I seriously have no idea what to do.

Help me, /adv/, you're my only hope!

Here's where it gets confusing for me:

I don't get it. I mean, I know that she was probably just being super nice and all, but what gets me is that this came out of nowhere which led me to believe that she liked me. Did she really like me but I was too dumb to notice and I took long to respond? Or was she REALLY being nice? I don't know why females think this is okay, it's really easy for females to get guys and play with them and shit. To be honest, I was annoyed and a little upset when she told me that she wasn't interested. Also, about the sweetheart shit, she says that it's always in a condescending way but she would call me that when she saw me for the first time of the day. So I don't understand what she means by that. Any help guys? What the FUCK was that all about?

What was the best advice you ever got on 4chan?

I got mine on /b/

It was a recipe for sirloin and basil.

It was easy to do and healthy, I won over lots of girl with this simple dish:

-approximately 4 oz.’s of sirloin steak (or about 115 g’s per serving)

-tomato’s (I used cherry tomato’s in this recipe but feel free to use any kind)

-basil

-mushrooms

-onions

Directions:

1. Preheat a frying pan and then spray it with non-stick spray.

2. While waiting for the frying pan to heat up, wash, peel, and chop onion. If the mushrooms you bought didn’t come pre-sliced, wash and chop them as well.

3. Add chopped mushrooms and onions to heated pan and stir around occasionally for about 5 minutes on medium heat.

4. Add sirloin steak to the same pan and cook for about 5 minutes or so, alternating sides. Feel free to add pepper or low-salt spices to the steak.

5. Remove steak from pan and cut into smaller pieces on a cutting board. Depending on how well you like your steak done, you may want to place it back on the frying pan again after you’ve cut it into smaller pieces.

6. Combine basil, tomato’s, onions and mushroom mix, steak, top with dressing, and enjoy!

I'm trying to get all my shit together, and I'm still young, but I can't help but be furious thinking of the past three years being essentially wasted youth (partially for falling for a meme I was raised with and being burned hard, partially for not taking control of my downtime). It's particularly frustratin when with friends I've known for longer than that time, because I've seen them progress while now it would take me years to catch up, if ever, because I'm a total novice at everything.

I need help for a friend, and myself more indirectly

A girl I know from the internet is going through a mental/emotional meltdown and is threatening to kill herself. I offered to help her look for a local counselor but she's not really willing to help herself. She won't talk to anyone but me about her situation and I am not equipped or prepared to help her, and honestly I'm probably more detrimental. So I recently started dating a new guy, and he's been showing discomfort towards one of my best friends, who is also a guy.

Now, before you start, it's not because I'm friends with a man that's getting to him. Some of my other friends are men, and he doesn't care all that much about them. It's the fact that this particular person has mainly female friends than male that's been really getting to him. He's been having a lot issues with that, feeling that this friend specifically can't be trusted; leaving him to flip out whenever he discovers that I'm still talking or hanging out with said friend.

I'm not really seeing what the big deal here is. Nor do I see what makes this person untrustworthy in anyone's eyes. The fact he can be more friends with women than men has honestly been one of my favourite characteristics about him. And my boyfriend, again, has no issue with my other guy friends. Just this one for this express reason. And I'm not sure the relationship is going to last if my boyfriend keeps acting up like this.

What's wrong with befriending a guy who's mostly friends with women?
