I propose the introduction and enforcement of strict reductions on Glorbulan access to Human space. Civilian traffic is to be prohibited, while merchants and traders shall be permitted only with proper paperwork and exclusively for the prearranged transport of cargo into or out of our borders. Military vessels will be met with a single warning to depart our territories immediately, followed by an overwhelming show of force should they fail to comply.

This is far more than the Glorbulans gave those poor souls aboard the Beta-Gamma spacedock.

With all due respect, Senator, the choice is obvious. Regardless of whether or not the governor disobeyed orders to aid the refugees, an attack on our colonies and our systems cannot go unanswered. The Glorbulans have not only broken neutral accords with the Republic, they've insulted our sovereignty, attacked military personnel who only followed orders, and murdered innocent civilians, civilians who the populace demand be avenged. Their refusal to respond to hails by our military fleets and their unwillingness to speak for themselves in this matter only confirms that they see us as beneath their notice. Trade treaty or no, I formally request that the Senate consider passing a declaration of war upon the Glorbulan Empire so we may prove to the galaxy that we will never allow ourselves to be threatened.

Better HP, save proficiency, and weapon and armor proficiency I'd guess. Plus you can use your pact magic slots to smite, so you can smite a LOT (provided adequate short rests of course). It also helps out bladelocks quite a bit.

No, I tend to keep things pretty local, because it keeps things easier to run. I think speculating about the WoD/CofD setting on the national scale is fun, but I don' t think I could ever do it justice.

Imperial Assault ist not the dungeon crawler you seek:

it focuses less on looting/exploration and more on mission objectives

suitably captures Star Wars feeling ... I guess, but racing past enemies towards the exit is not to my taste

reading the custom dice results takes some practice because you roll for range, accuracy, damage and special effects in one roll, but speeds up combat later on

So to sum things up: bump for interest

The upcoming Conan game looks good, waiting to get my copy to give a full report, but initial reviews of it are very positive.

Conan looks amazing. Been waiting on Sword & Sorcery whenever that thing comes out.

It never states that Karn's spark was stifled by the rift. In fact, he traveled through time and then planeswalked afterwords. Every spark that was stifled was done so immediately upon closing the rift. And we know that it was the glistening oil that stifled the spark as that was part of Yawgmoth'a experiments back in the day trying to get one completed and trying to bind a spark to someone already completed. It doesn't work. The glistening oil snuffs out sparks.

And the interplanar traveling ship known as the Legacy is another story for another time.
