It's a neutered Scars of Mirrodin. It's not even close to being the best anything.

its pretty cool but its not amazing. the power level is moderate, the mechanics are pretty parasitic and there are almost no playable cards for eternal formats. energy is a cool mechanic and there are some nice edh cards but thats about it.

I'm ok with HFY as long as it's not hostile, eg: would hinder diplomatic relations with races that we'd be perfectly able to get along with.

Outside of that, however, I'm firmly in favor of HFY. The amount of furries, autistic-transhumanists, and Chaosfags I see on this board makes me glad to see people who can say, for all our faults, that humans are pretty fucking awesome. Not perfect, but special and great in our own way.

That depends on the demographics of the colonists and how hardline the cultures represented are. But probably. Maybe two generations for complete race mixing.

Either way, any population that can mix freely will homogenise, given enough time. How long that would actually take is the question, depending on large the group is, how easily they can physically meet one another, and how culturally diverse the group was the begin with/became over time

That is the most likely outcome, assuming the gene pool is large enough to provide stable breeding pairs, but not so large as to allow any race to solely breed with their own successfully.

More likely that hardliners would be find their genes dying out rather than continuing their race. But it all depends on the population size and racial make up of the original colonists.

We fix monks by removing them. By that, I mean we flavor our "monks" with stylizing a character around the concept of being a zen brawler. A mix between a fighter and a cleric, combining the religious devotion(in this case to martial arts) and fighters raw combat potential.

Option 1- Not playing D&D.

Alternately, just let Monks enchant their fists. Magic tattoos, jewellery, knuckle-dusters, or just call it esoteric Kung-fu techniques. It's not hard.
