the Mk VII and on helmets look so fucking stupid it becomes hard for me to even take spess mereens seriously when they wear it.
this helmet looks like a fucking emoticon.

He's a fairly nasty fighter, reasonably durable and SCE have been lacking in unbinds, so he fits the bill. The anti-wizard pulse is super-situational at best, but should at least make some models wary of tangling with him. The Gryphhound ability would require some amazing skill to pull off consistently.

Mine is sorta typical.
>player been having some gelling issues with the group, gm hasn't talked with them about some shit
>put on gm hat, have this talk with the player in my usual blunt language, bring up all the issues other players have had with them so everything is brought to light and on the table
>player has a melt down, concerned they aren't included and is disliked despite being in the group some months and generally getting along with everyone
>whole group, minus gm for a time, meet up, talk it out
>player explains their melt down, group trips over themselves to reassure them, puts down my people skills in the process
>this isn't the first time this has happened
I have absolute venom for groups where certain members are above being called out for fear of offending their tender feelings. Seen it before, been the voice that points it out only to be shunned, and I am prepared to leave the group over it.
Further, I feel like I have finally found out how the group thinks of me, calling me "overdramatic". I put this group together from the scraps of an older group that exploded from drama, and something I always pushed was that everyone's voice was equal, regardless of experience, age or whatever bullshit, and that no one is above having their bad behavior called out. Now I'm the dramaqueen for pointing out shit the way that when I was GM, was status quo that everyone said they appreciated.
It... hurts, and I don't want to admit it, but it does. Why is my word counted as less now? I think it would be better to quietly step down, I dunno how to approach this without it becoming another powder keg or everyone getting butthurt.

If its something that is bothering you enough to make you want to leave the group then it might be best to leave it, trying to hold onto something that is just pissing you the fuck off will probably just hurt more in the long run and just enhance the feeling of bitterness and resentment. In terms of leaving take the high road as best you can and just say "I feel like what I think isn't seen as important so I'm just gonna leave"
That's what I think anyways, i've had the problem of holding onto things that made me just angry and nothing good came of it, just more anger and regret for not leaving sooner

I've had an idea kinda like this in my head for a little while.
In this case the adventurers could be hired by corporations to protect their assets from opposing rivals but said assets are pretty much the town itself, seeing as they could easily buy the whole thing. Adventurers could be "sponsored" with branded items. Imagine going into battle with a McAssault rifle and walmart wall of steel[tm] body armour.
I don't know if this is anywhere near what you had in mind but I think it could be something to consider.

Song of Swords is a realistic fantasy tabletop RPG that draws inspiration from historical fechtbuchs, weapons and armor. Its combat system is fast and it can be used for both fantasy and historical/mundane settings. Inevitably, you will always have that one gay ass zell in the party everyone works together to kill.
Call of the Void is a pulpy sci-fi tabletop RPG about fighting space-nazis and hunting giant whales with harpoons made out of the moon. Its combat system is more modern, based in the early 20th century, but can probably handle combat up to the present day.
