It never states that Karn's spark was stifled by the rift. In fact, he traveled through time and then planeswalked afterwords. Every spark that was stifled was done so immediately upon closing the rift. And we know that it was the glistening oil that stifled the spark as that was part of Yawgmoth'a experiments back in the day trying to get one completed and trying to bind a spark to someone already completed. It doesn't work. The glistening oil snuffs out sparks.

And the interplanar traveling ship known as the Legacy is another story for another time.

Didn't get an answer last time, so I'll ask once more: I decided to kind of rip off Arakis on how to write off Skyre, who's cursed to immortality, and wanted some feedback on if it's lorebreaking:

>Per his curse his destroyed body turns to mist and begins to reform
>Someone bounces/exiles his reforming body into þe blind eternities
>It reforms out of aeþer instead of regular matter, mutating him to look part human part eldrazi
>He can't solidify his aeþer body on any plane
>He isn't capable of projecting a body like Eldrazi/Oldwalkers
>He now just spends what is subjectively each an instant and an eternity floating between planes as a mutated lump

I know magic has precedence for what happens if you touch blind eternities un-shielded, and it's a lot like a weakening edrazi mutation, as shown in pic related, but am I taking in all my facts right?

not quite, as I understand it touching the blind eternities unshielded when you're not a planeswalker pretty much causes the energy constructing your body to diffuse into the eternities. Basically you fall apart like a sugar cube into water.

Hi! I'm the guy from last thread with some Lore questions. Keep in mind that it's been years since I last played Magic, and back then I didn't have any interest in lore. But Magic got me in RPGs and my liking of RPGs is bringing me back to Magic

What are some good M:tG books/series? Are there any? Is there any good wiki to learn the lore and story?

What are the differences between Old Planeswalkers and New Planeswalkers?

In Lore, how long does it take for planeswalker to connect a new land? How long does it take to gather mana? How long can he hold the mana before taking mana burn? What stops one planeswalker from just getting as many lands as possible? Assuming random draw of spells is just game balance and not something that happens in-universe, what stops every planeswalker from getting at least one land and some basic useful spells of each color? The walkers personality influences his main/first mana bonds, but does the mana bonds influence his personality, ie, someone with a lot of white lands becomes more orderly in personality, or someone with lots of red becomes more impulsive?

It was my intention during these last rounds to not only post a match-up image for the flakes battling, but also a card on the polls release that included all of the colors of the flakes involved. Gaia is five-color, so that means every color is represented.
