Have you tried looking at the FNS-9 compact? It's DA but the trigger is like 6lbs.

I've shot one, and might be able to pick it up for under $100 or a trade. Very, very easily pocket carried, even without a holster. +P rounds are very stappy though.

It's a great carry gun, even if you're a woman you can easily carry it.

Sights are terrible, but it's a self defence gun without a doubt. Even at 25yards I could still hit the target multiple times without ever firing it before.

Snappy, accurate, small. =carry gun.

I don't like the .380 round, but I might get it.

Also wanted to say, it's not a fun range gun. My S&W Shield isn't a fun range gun, but the LCP is even worse. Not enjoyable at all. It's literally just a carry gun, and there is nothing wrong with that.

On the other hand the gun laws are fantastic, so is hunting and fishing, and generally it's not hard to find somewhere to be left alone.
I'd honestly suggest somewhere like Montana, Dakotas, Minnesota, etc. for similar/same benefits without paying out the ass for everything and being disconnected from the lower 50, but that's just me.

I'm looking at the Ozarks. in the Midwest now and pretty nice but need a slightly milder climate with longer growing season for certain food crops and better hill cover for a LMTFA acreage. Anyone live around there?

Everytime the gun shoots that shit whips around. If it's consistent (no extra contact points or consistent contact points on barrel) then it's accurate.

To improve accuracy you must sing your barrel the appropriate tune.

18" barrels tend to like blues, anything shorter starts liking more hi-tempo stuff.

You see, each bullet leaves the barrel at a different time. Maybe it's .03 seconds but the next round is ever so slightly different in its charge so it takes .028 seconds. This means as the barrel waves around during the shot it will be in a ever so slightly different position at that time and alter the course of the bullet enough to affect your target. This is why bull barrela are good. They just whip less and have less deviation. This is also why consistency in loading ammo counts. If each bullet has the same barrel travel time, then each one will exit at the same point in the barrel "whip travel"
