Hehh hehh, by the way, thanks to Bud's for this Glock 43.
So ive come into possesion of an sks for 150 bucks (im american) it looks like it honestly shouldnt function, but it does flawlessly, the parts not pitted or completly rusted are almost in the white, wood dinged up, but still ok color wise
So how do i make it into a mad max style post apocalyptic type rifle, something that looks like its been in the thick of it for 100 years, if i get enough good suggestions ill post it next week sometime,
>>30755807
Bumping with pics for inspiration, also double points if i can buy the shit cheap at ace or home depot, or have it round the house
Also how do i get this orange rust, not the brown or dark brown kind? I think it comes from exposure to water and not just oxygen right?
Just found this while searching about Sten gun legality in Canada, so I decided to whip up some OC.

There's a lot more wrong with the writer than just lack of gun knowledge.
You find yourself in charge of developing a new service rifle and cartridge for a 1930s power. The design goals are as follows:
>semi-automatic or select fire
>intermediate cartridge with good performance in a short 10-16" barrel
>cartridge goal: 250-300m point blank range on battlesight
>compact
>ability to use a standardized marksman (between 2 and 4x) scope
>cheapness and ease of manufacture
>some form of stripped clip or en bloc clip capacity
Keep in mind that you are basically limited to forging, milling, and casting. Initially, this gun will be given to artillerymen, vehicle crews, etc.
What do you come up with?
Pic unrelated.
Gay thread. Kill yourself.

From watching all three of his channels somewhat regularly, I can say that he's certainly one of the nicest human beings on pro-gun YouTube. He just always seems so happy, he doesn't act over-serious, he actually has a successful non-functional carrer, he has a family, the list goes on.
Like, he just makes me smile.

There's literally nothing you can do in this situation other than enjoy the last 2 seconds of your life. A loaded rifle would not even save you here.

Or what would be your last speech, can you find the strength to die peacefully amid the beat of silence, can you top that fatefull shot, insert of the blade, PENEtrating jolt of her tremendous spears.
Or will you falter, buckle, stooped below the dirt above the dusty corners of your mind lay down your self and pick up that straw beat ego take me as your last day on earth!! Take forth your strength and show /k/ me what youve got!!!

I ordered CLP and it says not to expose to temperatures of 122f and it's pretty hot out. The can was warm when I got it from the ups, but not really really warm. Do you think it's ok? It's the spray can type.
>>30754740
The temperature warning is there mostly so retards dont put it in a hot car in the desert where it will explode. If it isn't exploded you're good.

So I know I shouldn't shoot commercial .308 and I haven't. But today at my LGS they had a box of 50 magtech rounds marked 7.62x51 Ball.. I usually shoot Privi Partisan 7.62x51 m80 ball 147gr with no problems, I've fired Aguila 7.62 marked, and ZQI 7.62 marked
Thoughts? The primer is DEFINITELY pierced and there was a bit more smoke after firing
Here's a close up comparison of the rounds
>>30754726

Perhaps it was a rogue bad primer. Did the round exit the gun ok? If so try a few more to check and then demand a new box and then some
