so, I was recently at my LGS and was talking to them about picking up a new scope for my rifle. Well, turns out they're a Leapers UTG distributor and they were telling me about one of they're scopes(pic related). they were telling me about the some of the shit they've put the scopes through and what not.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I told the dudes at the LGS that my rifle is extremely notorious for destroying optics form just firing them. they said they mounted said optic on a 338 and it did just fine. Also said they had a lifetime warranty.

Long story short the local shop refused to sell me an AR15 because of my tattoos and said it was suspicious reasons. I feel like my civil rights are violated but what can a small fry do? Pic related is my tattoo, they said it might be a gang or something I tried to explain it is a Dragonair and then they said they had problem with me saying to defend myself while playing Pokemon Go in my neighborhood and sounded like a mass shooting waiting to happen. Not the case at all. P:GO is a lifestyle I live and I am not looking for trouble just 2am would be nice having a way to defend myself if freaking team valor shows up and starts trouble.

Hi /k/ Hans here. So as you probably already know Germany is going through a wave terror/lone wolf attacks, during this week we had one shooting that left 9 dead, a refugee attacking people on a train with an axe that left 3 people fighting for their lives and today a new attack happened, some syrian refugee hacked a pregnant woman to dead with a machete and left two more people injured.
I am pretty sure that this things will keep happening and probably even more frequently, it sucks nowadays.
So my question is how can we protect ourselves? Have in mind that guns/knives longer than 12cm are illegal.
Being alert is the very important but it's not enough so any information about how to act would be very appreciated. Thanks

Thank you, I needed one but didn't have the OP template.
I posted in the last one about there not being any open MOSs I wanted after I took the ASVAB. I gave the recruiter a list of 7 MOSs I'd take, and she said she'd check again first thing Monday morning.
Truth be told though, the more I think about it, I'm not sure I really want to take anything other than 11B or 19D. If I cross off the other five MOSs, and wait for either 11B (or X, I suppose) or 19D to open, how long should I expect to wait? I don't have a job, and I'm living on finite cash, so I can't hold out forever, but I don't want to commit a minimum of 3 years to another MOS because I didn't wait an extra week.

Anyways, I bought something like that, a GSG522 because MP5 variants are illegal where I live. I like it a lot. It's fun to shoot, and you can take off the rubber grip and put on rails. Not to mention it already comes with a rail on top for a sight. Just make sure you use high-velocity ammo.
Don't discount a 10/22 if you can get one there, though. Hella fun to shoot, accessory options are endless, and it'll eat any ammo you feed it.
