Shit finally hit the fan, but in a way nobody expected. All birds suddenly become extremely hostile to humans and will gladly trade one human life for dozens of their own. How does /k/ handle this feathery threat?

Stay inside. Birds don't have the force to penetrate walls or roofs. Fucking Hollywood stupidity. Flame throwers and birdshot shall suffice.

>you survive on preps and Ahthroplex all the while hearing peck peck peck as the woodpeckers drill into your house
> suddenly they get the opening wide enough
> you assume fetal position as hummingbirds and golden crowned kinglets remove your eyes
But /k/, doesn't it say you can only bear arms if you're in a militia?
>>30753785
>>30753785
>The right of the well regulated militia to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed
Yup. That is word for word what it says. Totally. Mhmm.
Because a militia is necessary to the security of a free state, the right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
I'm pretty much set on this AR. Anyone have anything good/bad to say about M&P 15 Sport II?
If you spent 400 more dollars you can have a much better rifle
You can also build it in pats so its easier to save
M&p is the best entry rifle though
My dad just picked one up but I havrnt had a chance to go shooting with him yet. That said I've pretty much heard good things about the Sports . Really it seems like all the entry level rifles coming out in the past 5 years are all good starting points.

i mean if you were stretching the sights, its not free float... but really nothing.
I mean the furniture is plain, but lets be honest that is the first thing your going to change.
I think I have some surface rust on the end of my guide rod on my 10/22. The area that comes out from the spring when the bolt is locked back. Can I just use some 0000 steel wool on it and maybe some gun oil to remove it?
>Just buy another
Eh, this is the one it came with and I'd like to try removing rust. Never have before. Pretty sure every other piece is clean
Been curious, do the Kidd guide rod sets really improve anything?

Would CLP be ok? Or should I use this hoppes lubricating oil. If it matters, I've read CLP is ok

Did they seriously use part of LMs videos of their Multiple Kill Vehicle for their footage?
>>30753495
Yes anon, yes they did.
>AR15s are bolt-action rifles.
Why do Canadians always disagree with this?
Is it because guns are banned in their country?
>>30753248
we went through this yesterday and came to the conclusion that you're retarded
this bait isn't even that good
>>30753277
AR15s are absolutely bolt-action rifles.
What do you see in the plastic bag here?
>>30753305
Something you don't manually operate with a handle.
Now fuck off.
Rare weapons and equipment of the Second World War.
This ones interesting, the Zielgerät 1229, the first night vision assessory for a gun. Used in the burning streets of Berlin in 1945, it was ment to give the Germans a little bit of an advantage, the "Nacht Jägers" that held this assessory were very rare to see, and not many of them survive today.
I forgot what this one was called but it gave you the ability to fire through corners without getting shot.
This one's pretty rare, only appeared towards the end of the war.

"Karl, what happened to your sturmgewehr?"
"Hold on Franz, I can fix this."
And thus the Krummlauf was born.
What is /k/s opinion on cargo shorts? Tactical everyday clothing or sperg pants trying to be military pants?

Alright /k/ I here looking for some advice.
I want to get into long range shooting so I went and picked up a Ruger Precision rifle. It might have been an impulse buy...(went in for a tuck-able holster)
Anyways, got the rifle but realized I know next to nothing of shooting past 200 yards. SO, im here looking for advise/reading material that anyone can suggest along with recommendations on optics for reaching out past 500yards.

As I said, it was an impulse buy

What is the process involved in informing the general populace of a huge attack like an invasion or nuclear strike? How are we told?
I was just thinking to myself, if im asleep in bed, how am I supposed to know to bug out when we're about to get nuked? Can the government call everyone in the country?
well for a nuclear attack you would hear loud as fuck sirens, also bugging out in a nuclear blast probably isn't gona do much to save you
>>30752697
Well, unless you live next to a base or major population center, chances are you dont have to worry about any blast waves.
>>30752639
The populace wouldn't be informed until after it had happened, same with an asteroid strike, world governments would get comfy in their bunkers whilst we're all incinerate.
“Lead was also collected by agents in considerable quantities throughout the country, and the battle-field of Manassas was closely gleaned, from which much lead was.” -Jefferson Davis
If the Confederate Armies had issues with procuring enough lead to produce slugs, did they ever have a chance of winning at all?

>relax my position to cycle the bolt
>do this several times
>RO and another guy having a conversation behind me
>hear RO say to the other guy "watch his muzzle...see! there, pointed at the grass"
>muzzle is a few degrees off my target and below the line of the back, bullet would have impaced the ground right in front of backstop
>areyouforfuckingreal.jpg
>RO thinks I can't hear him or doesn't care
>mfw I pay money for this shit and there's no other option
>such is life in England
Felt like sperging out about the valid reasons that I wasn't doing anything wrong and was a more experience shooter and more used to being aware of gun safety than the old range queen idiot was. Kept my mouth shut because the club is a 'social community' and it might have turned into people acting like bored housewives bitching and gossiping. Biggest flaw with shooting in the UK, you have to be one of the fortunate few wit appropriate land to be able to go shoot by yourself or just with bros away from this sort of club bureaucracy shit.
That's my boring RO story.
