If your goal is an outright gun ban, you need to use terms such as “common sense gun legislation” to fool the public, a Hillary Clinton campaign delegate admitted in a recent undercover sting video released exclusively to Infowars.

“Saying you want to ban guns altogether, that’s going to piss everybody off,” the Clinton alternate delegate, Mary Bayer, told a Project Veritas reporter.

Instead, Bayer revealed, Democrats use “moderate” language when it comes to guns to obscure their true purpose, a complete elimination of the Second Amendment.

“You have to take that sort of moderate… ‘We just wanna have common sense legislation so our children are safe!’” Bayer told the reporter, adding, “You say shit like that, and then people will buy into it.”

Bayer also admitted Hillary “for sure” would support banning guns, and said the only way to actualize that goal would be to “get Democrats in office.”

The delegate’s admission is particularly concerning given the fact that Clinton campaigns on the promise of enacting “common sense approaches” to gun control if elected president in November.

If hydrostatic shock is a real phenomenon, then why does a 41ae hollow point have less "stopping power" than a .45 hollow point? Also why not design a green bullet that's half full of a heavy liquid metal such as gallium mixed with silver. The jacket could be a composite plastic material of some sort with a razor sharp tip. This would deliver more of the energy into the target by transferring much of its energy briefly after impact, and cause the bullet to tunnel in a less than orthodox fashion albeit a short distance.

It's because hydrostatic shock damage is a myth. Stop buying into the hype and overpriced ammo. The only reason to use a 41 ae over a 45 is bullet drop and conditional factors which might throw your shot off a negligible distance. Well that and an average of 2 more in the mag. Due to the hot rounds lack of tunneling because of it's excessive speed a simple 9mm can actually do more damage than its action express counterpart. So a higher muzzle velocity doesn't equal more damage.
Also through and through isn't necessarily a bad thing. A large exit wound from a round that tumbled like a pinball is pretty much the ultimate in destruction you can do without using explosives in the round. You need the right muzzle velocity for a given job when it comes to handguns. An armor piercing hot round will do less damage to someone not wearing armor than a much slower softer round of equal weight and width, and this isn't because of "hydrostatic damage". It's because the bullet actually travels further within the body.Think winding road. Not because the displacement of liquid causes direct damage via shock to the nervous system. That's just silly.

No one intelligent still believes in hydrostatic shock

Im sorry i stopped reading this rant less than half way through. It is a fact that bullets destroy tissue that they dont come in contact with, whether you want to call it hydrostatic shock, secondary wound channel, whatever, feel free to ignore science and corners autopsy reports. But that doesnt matter. What matters is that with todays high tech hp bullets, any gun is capable of quickly stopping a threat so who fucking cares what gun and caliber you prefer.

You'd be surprised. I've read coroner reports from otherwise sound medical examiner's which included the term. This includes one by a former cardiac surgeon. Also if no one believes it, then why is it an advertising point? It's not housewives and first time buyers they push this on.

Hey /k/ this is my first time posting here.

I am in need of insight on cleaning my guns thoroughly and storing them for 6+ months while I am at college.

What does /k/ recommend for cleaners/solvents/lubricants for getting an AR-15 and Ruger 10/22 ready for storage? I have been running mainly on Ballistol/G96 on my guns with a bore snake so you can say I have very little knowledge on deep cleaning my guns.

Also because I was too cheap to get any sort of safe or cabinet I just went with a hard gun case for my AR and a soft case for my 10/22. What should I do for storing a gun for months at a time? My guns are right now placed with silicone treated gun socks in their cases.

I leave for college in a week so I am needing help asap. Any insight will be appreciated.

Open the owners manual and learn how to properly feild strip and care for your rifle. You can even downlowd pdf or youtube instructions. But either way you need to learn how to field strip them. I use hoppes #9 for the bore cleaning, and remington teflon treated remoil for all lubricating.

5.56 is great for killing sand nigger with shit tier body armor, but is it good enough to go against another fighting force with simular capabilities and body armor? Us military is designed for 7.62. Would 5.56 be enough to kill an enemy?
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Most armor that will stop 5.56 will also stop 7.62x51. One thing I am curious to see though is the performance of m855a1 against Russian steel armor. In testing of the round vs american level 3 ar500 steel armor the round has gone right through the plate. Im wondering if it will have similar effects on Russian armor.

>Would 5.56 be enough to kill an enemy?

Yes, most bullet-related deaths are caused by blood loss and armor generally only covers vital organs. Getting shot in the leg can still be deadly.

I'm quite sure this is bait, but regardless, all my guns can, even my AR. I mostly agree with you on the AR front, there aren't many SKSen/AKs that don't run it just fine. Never bought Tula pistol ammo though, and I'm not really sure why

So in celebration of finally applying for my ccw.
I wanna know what can you do to loose your ccw.
Florida btw I'm not talking bout drug charges.

Example what if I get into a fist fight with somebody be it the street or in the mall, and police arrest me and the other person when they search me they find my carry piece and ccw card, will I just get a simple assualt charge? Or will I loses my ccw too?

What about if I leave my ccw in the car and the ccw card and still get into a fight would the cops even know I even a have ccw?

If I get a felony at all would they even know I have a ccw unless I tell them?

Never seen a thread like this get made in over the years I been here so why not start it off.

This would be a good thread for future ccw carriers so they would know how easy it is too lose your ccw.

I know domestic assault is an automatic ccw, and gun lose no matter what.
