Is the LCP any good or is it shit?
Normally I would carry a 15rd 9mm for CC, but in professional places I'd rather have no chance of printing.
So to be a gentleman I'm considering one.
Just tell me if it's trash.
I've shot one, and might be able to pick it up for under $100 or a trade. Very, very easily pocket carried, even without a holster. +P rounds are very stappy though.
It's a great carry gun, even if you're a woman you can easily carry it.
Sights are terrible, but it's a self defence gun without a doubt. Even at 25yards I could still hit the target multiple times without ever firing it before.
Snappy, accurate, small. =carry gun.
I don't like the .380 round, but I might get it.
smooth, small, reliable, feeds well, good pocket gun / backup gun. It is a bit snappy indeed

Also wanted to say, it's not a fun range gun. My S&W Shield isn't a fun range gun, but the LCP is even worse. Not enjoyable at all. It's literally just a carry gun, and there is nothing wrong with that.

$100? Good luck with that. They're more like 250.
250 isn't that much, so there's no reason to bicker over prices.

It's from a family member, he said $100 or trade some 9mm or something.
Seems like the thread to ask:
I've got an SR9 and I like it, but it's too big for comfortable concealed carry.
I am considering adding an SR9c for a carry gun because it can share magazines and ammo with my SR9.
I am also considering adding an LC9 for a carry gun. Same ammo, slimmer profile.
Which does /k/ think is a better idea?

I love mine. I got it to replace my Kahr P380 because it was unreliable. My LCP has not had even a single hiccup since I bought it new. Of course the LCP lacks the last round hold open feature, the +P rating, and the smooth trigger of the P380. What the LCP has instead is the ability to go bang when I want it to. This has been my experience, YMMV.
Oh and it's not super comfy to shoot but it carries like nothing more than an oddly thick phone.

Get the LCP custom, it has better sights and a better trigger. Its still not a fun gun for target shooting; but its small and it will save your ass in a pinch.

Check out the LC9S instead. A bit bigger but still very small and a much better firearm.

Those sights are pretty damn tall for a pocket gun though. If I were OP I'd get a regular old second generation LCP. Oh wait I did do that.
