You prefer the 2 to the 10?
>>
>>30755553
Having owned both, I feel the bk2 is better for batoning due to the overall thickness of the spine and general heft of the knife. Plus, it can be had for considerably less.

The 10 is better at actual knife stuff, the 2 is too thick to be great at slicing but it is tougher and more wedge like for splitting but I'll offer you something else entirely, the Buck compadre knife

4 inch 3/16 thick 5160 carbon steel for like $50, the perfect camping/hunting knife that wont be too big to always have on you or too small to do any general tasks, its tough enough to take abuse and its backed by Bucks warranty which is usually quite good, they seem to have good customer service, not to mention they have one of the best heat treating reputations out of any of the big production companies

The glock knife is great if you aren't worried about a knife that will be great at whittling and skinning game nonstop, but just something that will take abuse and be used for general utility tasks, bonus that its light for its size

The bk2 is heavy as shit, you might as well carry a small hatchet and a small light knife like an opinel or swiss army knife for close to the same weight, a heavy knife is very easy to leave behind, a light knife is easy to keep on your person at all times so you'll have it when you need it

Or you know, cut a wedge or stake if you want to split wood.
