>AR15s are bolt-action rifles.
How do you counter this, conservatives?
Nah
>>30749163
I thought the thumbnail had Wall-E in it initially.
I don't understand this meme
Dear /k/,
I have a 74 sporter that is squibbing. It did so a while back, and ever since I have been very wary. I went shoosting today and warned my friend that it had happened before as he was using it. A round squibbed. How can I diagnose and solve the issue. Is it just shit ammo? 2 squibs in under 100 rounds is unacceptable. Or more probably head spacing issues? Can I get a gunsmith to realign it?
>>30749155
1st pic is rifle with a round in battery. This is the ammo.
>>30749171
Here is the rifle empty minus bolt. Anyone have anything they can tell me I will be happy to put more pics if it can help
are you sure you know what a squib is? that looks like a failure to extract. which could be caused by the ejector, extractor,a dirty chamber or bad ammo. if its a squib its entirely the ammos fault but that dont look like a squib
What sort of bullet makes holes like this.
See they have rectangular bit to them?
Thanks
Sorry I don't come on this board ever
And closer
any idea?
>>30749101
It's just how the material breaks when you shoot it. Not much to do with the bullets (unless you shoot wadcutters)
What was his weapon of choice /k meaning what side arm did he carry usually?
>>30749092

>getting a gun in CA
>DROS/ICS for ammo
Just buy a bow
>>30749034
is it really that hard?
I just need a fucking gun
>>30748986
>>30749056
Don't do it OP. Just fucking don't.
Why aren't duplex loads more popular for self-defense?
Wouldn't two hits on target with one shot increase the chances of stopping an intruder?
>>30748534
less energy which reduces bullet performance, such as expansion and penetration
>>30748534
Less velocity.
Also they recoil more.
I once heard about a brief time when "machinegun loads" for revolvers was gonna revolutionize everything, pulling the trigger and letting off three projectiles at once, 3x5 or 3x6, it'd be a lot more shots than what was typical for semi-automatics, it was gonna spit in their face.
Then people tried that out found that no it did not. Sure, it put out more projectiles, but the extra recoil made followup shots a fair bit harder, so that buzz quickly and quietly died down.
I'll be honest, I wouldn't mind trying out some manner of multi projectile loads for some kind of rifle, like a lever-action rifle in .357 Magnum, or .444 Marlin, just to see what kind performance you'd get.
>>30748534
>>30748657
What is the point of this outside of rifle rounds?
Why not just use a heavier bullet?
what are the comfiest and most durable gas masks that you have or want, /k/? something without proprietary filters or can be adapted to NATO, bonus if a smoke lens can be added.
>>30748369
this
maybe this one
>>30748380
And which is that?
Not OP, by the way.
Two /k/ommandos bump into each other in a war zone.
>>30748217
>"Ayy?"
"LMAO"
Thank you for dying and have a god bless day
You mean Burger King?
I've come to the conclusion that double stack magazines create too thick of a grip for my small hands to feel comfortable shooting.
I've also come to the conclusion that thicker grips usually also equal thicker overall gun and that is much harder to conceal and obviously more uncomfortable.
There are plenty of small single stack guns, but I prefer the ballistics from a longer barrel, and the way a full sized handgun feels.
Looks like my only options are Wilson Combats in 9mm unless some expert anon can point me to an obvious answer that my Google-Fu failed to deliver.
Pic related. I only found the Smith and Wesson 39-2 but I can't find any for sale anywhere
>>30748102
Dumping one more pic
Shameless self bump
Arent 1911's single stack?
Does anyone want to buy 200 load carrier vests?
http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=11285517
>>30748071
Is that $25 for 200? Or $25 for each one, there being 200 in total?
>>30748305
$25 for 200
>>30748323
dude holy shit. How much is shipping?
Just purchased my first new glock and there is some copper colored stuff in the corners of the slide
Is it cartridge residue and they don't bother to clean it?
Naw, it's factory lube or w/e. Don't worry, it's normal.
It's typical. You don't have to clean it unless you have autism.

Thanks senpai

>Electrical tape
If you don't take pride in your shit, what makes you think WE want to see it?
>>30747349
Knife was used for a bunch of hoodrat shit back in the day, handle broke off awhile ago, electrical tape does a better job anyway.
>>30747389
>I'm proud of being a piece of shit
Sell your guns before you wrap THEM up in electrical tape for a "better grip" too.
Hi /k/ just a quick dumb question... what ranges to tanks fight eachother at? As I understand most infantry fighting is in that 0 to 400 metres range, but I have never considered what ranges tanks fight eachother at...
>>30747030
several thousand meters
I can engage targets effectively up to and slightly beyond 2000 meters, and that's just with 25mm. Imagine how far 120 smooth bore can go, especially with those kick-ass optics western tanks have
>>30747030
supposedly during the Gulf War in 91' M1s were making kill shots at 3-4k meters. I think they normally only train out to 1.2-2 k meters. If you get into dense urban settings it can be a few hundred meters to point blank. I saw a documentary on Germany's invasion of Russia, one tank commander was talking about his barrel hitting a enemy tank as they turned their turret to engage another tank.
>>30747097
>3-4 kilometer killshots
what the fuuuuck that's wild
Itty bitty bullet kiddie LMAO!!!!
How can stoner bois even compete?
LOL, its such a SMALL round. How embarrassing, I bet that poor chamber doesn't even feel when you slide in!
How can you even muster the will to go to the range????
Doesn't help that you're such a "fast" round, HAH! He's a quick little guy!!!
The superior BIG вoeнный CALIBER is the only way to go if you don't want to just tickle your enemies...
Cool story bro

An xm193 puts out over 1200 ft/lbs of energy from a 16 inch barrel. Subject in the photos was shot with an xm193 from a 20 inch barrel, which has a muzzle energy of close to 1300 ft/lbs with an xm193.
