I've been pocket carrying a Beretta 21A. It sucks as a SD gun so it's time upgrade but I want ideas on what to get. Must haves = small as possible, DA/SA, double stack, good reputation for reliability Wants= all metal, 9mm (I can live with .380)
You guys know whats good and whats crap so help me out.

I've been looking at the CZ RAMI and Beretta PX4 subcompact, but for some reason I really like the Bersa Thunder Plus.

Any other suggestions?
My friend insists that the IWI X95 is a perfect weapon, so i'd love to hear what /k/ thinks of it, he'd like to add that he's talking about the military version rather than the civilian version
Upsides:
>it's short
Downsides
>lol 5moa
Well, it's extremely compact relative to its barrel size.
The ergonomics are good for a bullpup.
Other than that it's just a normal 5.56 semi-automatic rifle, on the extremely common AR-18 pattern.
He may be right, on paper at least. The mil version is more compact, has provisions for a suppressor and I hear they have different barrels that might not suffer the accuracy issues people bitch about on the civ ones. That said, unless hes a Jew in the IDF, hes probably talking out his ass.
How do you prefer to carry your rifle? Do you prefer carrying it with the muzzle pointing down or do you prefer to cradle it Russian style?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sQy8JMTin2M
Its less preference and more situational. The Russians cradle it when they aren't expecting to be attacked.

What kind of fucking mongoloid couldn't just figure out how to cradle carry?
>>30745867
this, there's a million different ways to carry your rifle and all of them are the right way in the right situation
Can anyone ID this eagle on a Mauser stock? The parts are a mismatch, so I'm not sure if the stock is original to the rifle. Thanks for the help

What is /k/'s opinion of the RAS47?
How about american made aks, in general?

I want this to be my first rifle. I rented one the other day and find it incredibly comfy to hold and easy for me to keep stable. The fact 5.7 leans on the pricey side does not bother me.
Redpill me on the PS90 and FN products, /k/. Should I buy?

You either play way too much video games, or put absolutely the most minimal thought into your decisions in life.

Hey /k/,
So I'm building an AR right now and I'm looking for a good barrel to put on it, but it seems that every company I look at (DD, FNH, Noveske) all make the first few inches of the barrel pencil thin and then beef it up towards the end. This looks absolutely disgusting to me and I just can't bring myself to put one of these on my AR. Are there any quality (CHF) non-pencil barrels out there that maintain a consistent barrel diameter throughout their length? Suggestions would be very much appreciated.
>>30745534
Look for bull barrels.
>>30745534
>please make my weapon heavier for no good reason becuase i dont undestand what im looking at anyway
>>30745534
The thin part is covered by the handguard.
What do you do for a living /k/? Is it operator related? Do you like what you do? I'll go first.
>inside wireman apprentice for the IBEW
>not operator related but I love it
>pic unrelated
I'm a boilermaker. Not operator related at all but I like the people I meet and travelling, plus it's great exercise. Good money too

So I'm trying to up my cleaning game and am curious about something.
What do soldiers typically carry with them to clean their weapon when they aren't on base? How often do they clean in general?
>>30745463
A toothbrush. Or, a cleaning kit in the stock if you're fancy. A bottle of CLP.
>>30745463
>>30745463
Former 0311 Here
I just carried a decent sized bottle of CLP
AP Brush
Rag cut from an undershirt to wipe down the barrel when morning dew would get on it or if it rained. That is if you couldn't keep it dry in the first place. Also a rod to punch the barrel incase your retarded and get shit in their.
New AR fag here
Just about to finish my m16 a2 Clone build.
What ammo do you guys recommend?
The barrel is crome lined
20in
1:8 twist
I will be mostly shoot targets for run at the range.
wolf gold

Live ammo works best
>>30745331
Only Hornady polymer tipped varmint ammo.
Anyone wear body armor daily ?
Did you say daily body armor?

Looking to get my first vest, any recommendations on cheap IIIA soft body armor?
Do they make armored panels for protecting your buttocks? All I see is the genital ones
Can someone woke me on Holosun? I hear decent reviews online. Does /k/ own one? How do you like it?
>>30745150
Just get the Primary Arms MD-ADS if you want a cheap optic.
>>30745150
I have a holosun on my 15-22, works great for what I use it for. Plinking and small game hunting. Holosun and primary arms are basically the same, just depends on what lettering you want on the side. The auto off/on feature and button brightness adjustments are great, positive button feedback, clear glass, crisp dot, simplistic construction, and light weight. Those things in combination with my 15-22 make a perfect pair.
>woke me
Kill yourself, nigger.
Is anyone doing a summer /k/lass of 2016?
Was actually wondering this myself. We haven't had one since last summer

Well, then in that case, since I only work 3 12 hours shifts, and have a lot of time on my hands, I'll go ahead and tomorrow start a thread for that and make that my project for this week,
